Sharing the 3 acre water park style play area with the Disney Beach Club offers a wonderful experience that you will not find at other locations. This multiple lagoon style location has a sandy bottom pool, a 230 foot twisting, water slide built into a old time ship wreck, a lazy river and a whirlpool area. There are also 3 additional quiet pools throughout the 2 resorts available to all of the Disney Yacht Club visitors. Having these quiet pools allow the adults to have some time away from the excitement at the main family pool area. You will also find multiple hot tubs throughout the resorts as well. The kids will have a great time playing in the water spouts, and the entire family will enjoy relaxing while floating along the lazy river. The main area is broken up into 3 separate lagoons each with their own special design. You will also find a zero-entry area for the younger ones to splash around and play without worrying about them slipping off of a pool edge. There is so much to do at this resort, you will want to make sure to schedule some time away from the local attractions and theme parks to enjoy them all.

Water Slide – Start
The Water Slide at Stormalong Bay is the longest at any of the Disney World Resorts. This 230 foot behemoth starts at the top of a pirate ship mast.
Water Slide – End
The enclosed water slide ends in a splash down area, constantly watched by Lifeguards in the main pool area.
Kids Pool and Slide
There is a small kids, shallow pool with small water slide at the base of the pirate ship before climbing the mast to go down the large water slide.

Sand Bottom Pool
The Sand around the Sand Bottom Pool has a unique feeling on your toes as you sink in to the soft pool bottom. This is one of the favorite locations for the kids to play.
Towels and Return
Plenty of Towels are available as you enter the pool area at Stormalong Bay. Multiple Return boxes are situated around the pool for simple drop-off.
Unfortunately, there are not any Cabanas at the Stormalong Bay at the Disney Yacht and Beach Club
Between the Stormalong Bay 3 Pools and the Quiet pool at Disney Yacht Club and 2 Quiet Pools at the Beach Club, you can find a total of 6 Hot Tubs to enjoy around the properties.
White Beach and Lake
Place your feet in the sand and enjoy the view of the water while basking in the Florida sun. The beach is located just behind the Disney Beach and Yacht Club.
Take to the water in a small water craft and get a new vantage point of the Yacht and Beach club
Adults can find their favorite beverage at Hurricane Hanna’s located around the Sand bottom pool around the Stormalong Bay Water Park.
Disney Yacht Club Resort Swimming Pool Information
The Yacht Club Resort is located on the banks of Crescent Lake. If you like being near the waterway, having the option of taking a Disney Water Taxi as you mode of transportation or jumping on a water craft, the Yacht Club is an upscale resort that has these features. There are multiple beaches to choose from on the shores of the lake at the Yacht Club and Beach club resorts. The family will also have fun at the Lakeside Marina where you can have a large family outing on one of the many pontoon boats or if you are looking for something fast and fun, give one of the Sea Raycers a try. They also rent bikes at this location that will allow you to take your family on a great tour of everything that is going on in the resort.
