The pool area at Universal's Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando is one of the best that the Universal Resorts have to offer. As you walk up to this large pool area filled with lounge chairs all around you will see that this is a great place for the kids and the adults alike. Ample seating for the entire family is available but you will want to get to the pool early enough to find just the right spot to fit your family needs. As you would expect, music is pumped through the entire area and this pool is unique because they even have an underwater speaker system. Where else would you have the opportunity to experience something like this? The kids are going to love the huge 260-foot Twisty Water Slide and the younger ones will have a great time splashing in the shallow area of the pool that offers Zero-Entry access for the parent's peace of mind. There is a lot more to experience and you will want to take a look at the pool section to find out everything that is available for the family.
The excitement builds as you get closer to your stay at The Hard Rock Hotel Universal Orlando. The name pretty much says it all, doesn't it? Iconic, Rock 'n Roll music, memorabilia and an atmosphere you won't get at any other resort in Orlando. Sure, you might have eaten at a Hard Rock Restaurant but this is nothing compared to walking through the Resort where the entire theme is geared to showcase all of the prime Rock n' Roll Musicians of all time, old and new. As you walk through the main entrance, you immediately notice all of the reminders that instantly starts you thinking of all the songs that you love from each artist. This theme is seen throughout the resort and never grows old, especially if you have a heart for music.
Rooms and Suites
There are a number of accommodations at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando, ranging from standard King or Queen rooms, Deluxe rooms that give you a little more space or enjoy your time and upgrade to one of the many Suites. All of the rooms are designed to make you feel like a true Rock and Roller during your stay. You might not have any musical talent at all but that doesn't matter as long as you have an appreciation for music. Each of the rooms is well appointed and other than selecting just the right size room for your stay, you also need to be aware that there are many different views as well. Take some time to look at all of the different types of rooms and locations and pick one that will fit just what you are looking for. The suites are limited, so book early to get what you want.

Pros:
We loved how close the Hard Rock Hotel was from Universal Orlando. Some days we walked to the parks which was about 5 minutes but the water taxi was fun as well. Many guests feel that the rooms are comfortable and the word "spotless" is used to describe their stay. The kids really got a kick out of the underwater music and also enjoyed the long water slide.
Cons:
Guests staying at the Hard Rock Hotel did not enjoy it as much if they were not visiting the Universal Orlando Theme Parks for the most part. Many of the visitors did not like the fact that parking was expensive and not included with their stay.

Fun Things to Do
So, we have already mentioned the amazing Pool with underwater sound at the Orlando Hard Rock Hotel. What else is there to do? Well, there is a large chess set (life-size) out by the pool, a kids play area is available with the Supervised kids club with plenty of fun things to do. Did you know that you could rent your own guitar to jam out in your room? The list of things to do and see at the Hard Rock Hotel will keep you busy for hours.
Pets
It might be surprising to find out that you are allowed to bring your pet with you to the Orlando Hard Rock Hotel but it is true. Only specific rooms are equipped to handle bringing your pet though. If you are interested in staying at on of the specific themed suites, having your pet might not be the best option. If you are interested in bringing you fuzzy friend, you can only have up to 2 per room, they must be in good health and only dogs are allowed. Parking
