In fact, any of these Hotels near Magic Kingdom would be a great fit for the entire family, even the older kids and teenagers. There are a number of options to choose from and the amazing part is, all of these locations are sitting right on the water across from the park where you can see the splendor any time of day you want just by looking out your window.

Are there any Disney Hotels near Magic Kingdom

The Magic Kingdom Theme Park at Disney World was the first large set of attractions to be built on the Orlando landscape. The first resorts that were built for visitors are located right around this area on Bay Lake. You will find four main Disney World Deluxe Resorts in this area and they are all unique and exciting to visit. If this is where you decide to stay, you will have the opportunity to be a guest in one of the first resorts built on these grounds.

Since all of these are part of the Disney Deluxe properties, expect to have the best amenities available. If grandeur, style and sophistication is what you are looking for, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa might be the place to consider. The Floridian has always been considered the flagship location and will take you back to a time in the early 1900’s with its impeccable taste and Victorian Design.

It could be you are looking to take a trip to the islands but the kids really want to have fun of their own. Get the best of both worlds and stay at the Polynesian Resort where the tropics are brought to you and you never have to get on a plane or ship to travel to an exotic island location. On top of the amazing Polynesian styles at this resort, you can even book a night to enjoy the authentic Luau that is featured at this property.

You have probably seen it on different commercials or even documentaries where the monorail is going through a hotel property. That would have to be the famous Contemporary Resort where not only is it a Hotel to stay in but it is also one of the stations that the Monorail Train makes its stop to pick up passengers. Don’t let the name of this next property fool you. Just because it is called the Wilderness Lodge Resort, it sounds as if you will be staying in a more rustic setting but don’t expect it to be too rustic. This is a true Disney Deluxe resort and you will have all of the luxuries and upscale amenities that all of the other resorts of this type offer. Many guests feel that this is one of the best resorts to stay at. If you want to upgrade your stay to have some additional space, you can stay at one of the Wilderness Lodge Villas where you can have multiple bedrooms and even a fully equipped kitchen. All of these are Hotels near Magic Kingdom but the Wilderness does not have access using the Monorail.

Roughing it Disney Style

If camping is more your style, you have the option of staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground. Bring a tent, drive your RV or pull along a trailer, this full service campground can take care of whatever you are looking for. Maybe you don’t want to rough it quite that much but if this type of vacation sounds appealing, the Cabins at Fort Wilderness might be a better fit. A couple of things to know if you decide to stay at the campground. After you park your vehicle, you are not allowed to drive around the property unless you are coming or leaving. Renting a Golf cart is a great alternative and is fun for the entire family. Kids find that this is almost as exciting as going to the parks. For information on the campground or any of these properties, just follow the links and keep on reading through the details. The campground is on the far side of the Wilderness property and is not a Hotel near Magic Kingdom but it is close by when you take the Disney Water Taxi to get there.

Disney Transportation

Everyone loves taking the Monorail because it is such an iconic feature of the Disney World Resort. All of these Hotels near Magic Kingdom allow you to hop aboard except for the Campground and Wilderness guests. Water Taxi’s are also a great mode of transportation and there are docks at all of these properties to accommodate all guests across the water.
