The Westgate Blue Tree Orlando Florida is a Resort with so many activities and family fun to offer you will wonder if they need to include anything. They have four (4) outdoor, heated pools, two (2) hot tubs, and a splash pad with shallow water and spraying fountains for the little ones at the main courtyard pool. They do not have other water park features like a water slide or a lazy river. They make up for that with activities like basketball, tennis, volleyball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and the list goes on. The Westgate Blue Tree also has activities for your kids each day, taking some of the need for you to have something to do off of your plate for a while.
Great Location
Right off of Interstate 4, easy access to the resort puts you in a great location between SeaWorld and DisneyWorld. So plan your time to each site and set out for the family adventure of a lifetime.

A visit to the Westgate Blue Tree Resort puts you in the heart of the Disney Area and Lake Buena Vista. With easy access to the dining, shopping, and all-around fun at Disney Springs, along with the huge list of activities at the resort, there are plenty of things to keep you busy while you visit. One of the misconceptions is that the Westgate Blue Tree Resort is a Disney Good Neighbor hotel. There is also some confusion about the Shuttle service to the nearby theme parks.
Next door to the Westgate Blue Tree Resort you will find the Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista which is a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel and does provide transportation to Disney World. Blue Tree Accommodations
All of the rooms at the Blue Tree Resort by Westgate are Villas. There are no elevators to get you to level 2 or 3 in any of the buildings, so be sure to get a ground unit if you have difficulty climbing stairs. All of the units come with a full Kitchen and a private bedroom. Not all Villas have a private laundry room, but public facilities are provided in each building.

Westgate Blue Tree Resort Reviews
Pros:
A high percentage of people who stayed at the Westgate Blue Tree Resort appreciated the fact that it was well maintained and the grounds were continually groomed. The Villas are magnificent in size, and the Kitchen was beautiful and up to date. We were surprised not to have laundry facilities in the unit. Being close to "everything Disney" and also having free transportation to the parks was excellent. What a pleasant surprise to see that they had activities for the kids each day and at no additional cost.
Cons:
One of the issues that guests had with their stay at the Blue Tree Resort in Lake Buena Vista was not having a washer and dryer in the Villa. Management has responded to these complaints on TripAdvisor saying that some of the units do, in fact, come with a washer and dryer so if this is important, you might want to ask for one. Each of the building has laundry facilities, but most guests felt that it should be in the Villa.

Fun Things to Do
The Blue Tree Westgate Resort has many fun activities, from an arcade to enjoy when the weather is not the best to a mini-golf course to challenge your entire family. The playground is a fenced area for smaller kids where they will have hours of fun. Get a couple of other family and friends together for a beach volleyball match.
Shuttle Service
The availability of shuttle service at Westgate Blue Tree Resort can be perplexing due to the shared name and proximity with the Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista. Here’s a brief history: Westgate acquired some buildings and property in the area, therefore the existence of two similarly named resorts side by side. Now, regarding the shuttle service:
While some guests have reported a lack of shuttle service at Westgate Blue Tree Resort, the neighboring Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista does offer this amenity. During a recent visit, we discovered that guests staying at Westgate Blue Tree Resort are welcome to utilize the shuttle service provided by Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista. The shuttle runs to and from the theme parks and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. No special passes or identification are required; simply arrive on time, and if there’s available space, you’re good to go.
It’s advisable to confirm the current shuttle service arrangement with the front desk during your stay at Westgate Blue Tree Resort, as policies may change over time.
Kids Activities
Kids love to have fun, and Westgate has you covered; best of all, it is free. Each day, there are activities for all ages, from Yoga to Aqua fit to building the most incredible snow cone and even Family Bingo. So, not only will the kids have a great time, but the whole family is invited to join in when you want to. You can reach the activities center at 407-597-2200 ext. 42264, located in Building #1 by Pool #1.
