New Family Roller Coaster coming to Magic Kingdom

The Disney Team has been working overtime to get the newest and last attraction built for the new Fantasyland themed area at the Magic Kingdom Park in Orlando. This is something you really would have expected to be in the park from its inception but for some reason, it was not included in the original plans. Haven’t you always wanted to see the mines where the Seven Dwarfs worked all day? All of the wonderful things that they must have seen especially since what they brought out of the mine were priceless gems. It is finally being brought to life and in the grandest fashion as well. You will not be walking through the mine like we always saw the Dwarfs doing, it will be much more exciting than that. A new coaster is being added as the mine train that will take you on a wonderful, fun filled cavernous adventure with some additional surprises along the way.

What should we expect?

You might already be familiar with some of the other rides that have built music in to the ride as a stand out feature. It is not exactly known how Disney will incorporate music into this ride but it will not be set with the contemporary sounds that you get from the others. It will be a magical trip back in time, not only with the visual representation of how the Imagineers see the mine but also with a musical theme. I think it is a wonderful idea to bring the technology of sound into the mix as long as it is done with style and to bring out a better ride experience. It should never be used as a gimmick to get people on a ride. As we all know how Disney does things, I am sure they have put a lot of time on the drawing board to get this iconic idea just right before committing to the actual building process. This will be a steel roller coaster ride with the latest in design for the trains to give you the best ride ever.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs would be proud

Yes, it is true, if the characters from the loved movie could come to this location and see what is being built, they would absolutely be thrilled with the progress. This ride is not due for completion until 2014 but this gives Disney the time to make sure everything is just perfect before its initial launch. We will keep you up to date on the progress but for now, take a look at the video that has been released to give you a closer look.
