If you have spent any time in Orlando lately, you know that there is a new kid in town. Okay, Orlando is constantly adding new kids but this is a pretty big one. I am talking about LEGOLAND, the amusement park that is designed for all kids ages 12 and under but the parents will be amazed at all of the LEGO fun there is in the miniature park. If your child has any interest in LEGO’s (or even if they don’t), this is a great place to visit because it is so different than any other park in the area. LEGO park creators spent a lot of time thinking through every aspect of this great park and it definitely shows.
Enough already, On with the Real LEGOLAND news…
LEGO LAND just announced a new ticket plan that is going to be great for everyone. That’s right, you heard it right here, they have now added a “Pick a Date” Ticket option that allows those of us who plan ahead to get a better deal. So you are not the type to plan ahead, right. Well the good news is, you don’t have to plan very far in advance to get this new option, only a couple of days in advance. Take your pick from the 1 Day or 2 Day Ticket and you can save up to $15.00 per ticket. That is a really sweet deal when you think about it. That means you can visit the park and essentially get your meals free for the day, if that is where you want to spend that extra $15 you just saved.
So What’s the Catch?
Well, it’s not a big one but let’s take a closer look at how this works. When you purchase your tickets, you need to understand that this is not an open ended ticket. It is purchased for a specific date (or dates) that you select when ordering and if you do not go on that date, you will lose your entrance to the park with those cheaper, shiny new tickets you just bought. This would be really bad, so lock down a day that you know you can attend and take advantage of the savings. You will be thrilled with your savings and your kids will be thrilled that you took them somewhere built just for them.
Parking is not included in the ticket price. This is an additional fee that you will pay as you enter the park area.
