Official Disney World Hotel
Okay, so the Best Western Orlando Lake Buena Vista is most definitely not a Water Park Hotel. Being an Official Disney World Resort hotel has its perks though and makes it valuable to mention. Disney Springs is only a half mile away and a pretty simple walk for those able. The shuttle takes you to all of the Disney Theme Parks, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios on a rotating 30 minute schedule.
Rooms on the upper floor, facing the back side of the Best Western Hotel in Lake Buena Vista can see the Fireworks display from Disney World each night. Just ask for a room facing the parks and fireworks.
Rooms
There are not any suites at the Best Western Disney Springs but the standard rooms are said to be large enough to enjoy your stay. They come in a configuration with a King Bed for 2, 2 Queen Beds accommodating 4 or a couple of queen beds with a sleeper sofa to fit the need for up to 6 guests.

Pros:
Walking distance to Disney Springs is one of our favorite reasons to stay at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista. The staff is very friendly and the room is large enough but we were not in the room most of the time anyway. The pricing is not bad for the type of hotel and since it is a Disney Springs Resort Hotel, you get the perks of having complimentary transportation with your stay. Getting a room on the back of the hotel allowed us to watch the fireworks at night.
Cons:
The reviews are a little mixed for the BW Disney Springs Hotel with some guests feeling that it could use some updates along the way. There were a couple of guests who thought that the meals were free for kids during every meal. The staff says this is only for the breakfast portion of the stay. The rooms are also mentioned as being a little dark with poor lighting.

Dining
The primary restaurant at the Best Western Disney Springs location is the Trader’s Island Grill. Beautiful views of the resort through the glassed in back wall are delightful while you enjoy your buffet breakfast. At night, dinner is served from a menu of appealing options for everyone at the table. The Marketplace has some simple grab and go items. A great place to stop for your morning coffee or a quick bite for lunch.
Business & Event Spaces
Meetings a get together’s can be taken care of in the 4,000 square feet of business space.
Wedding Venue
Marriage in the outdoor gazebo makes for a memorable celebration and don’t stop there, let the BW Lake Buena Vista take care of the catering and the after wedding party in the 4,000 square feet of event space.
