Why stay at a Prime Value Universal Orlando Resort?

Most would answer this question with the simple answer, “The price of course!”. But there is so much more to consider when staying at one of the Prime Value Resorts at Universal Orlando than just price. Under the Prime Value heading at Universal Orlando there are currently two (2) properties; the Cabana Bay Beach Resort, and the Loews Aventura Hotel.

Did you know, you still get complimentary transportation to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure when you stay at a Prime Value property? For many guests, the primary reason to stay on site is for free transportation and early access to the parks – you get both when you stay at a Prime Value,

So, which is the Best Prime Value Universal Orlando Resort?

If you are visiting with your family, the easy winner would have to be the Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Sure, this is a subjective topic, but if you look solely at the recreation and things to do, the Cabana Bay wins with both eyes closed (or open). The Cabana Bay Resort has two large pools, a water slide at one and a lazy river at the other. This is pretty amazing since you don’t find a lazy river, even at the Universal Orlando Preferred or Premier Resorts. Add in a bowling alley and food that is less expensive, and you might wonder why you would stay anywhere else.

Transportation and Passes

We should probably answer the question, “Why would I want to stay anywhere else?” Yes, you get free transportation to to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and City Walk when you stay at one of the Prime Value Hotels at Universal Orlando but the one thing that you get when staying at one of the Premier Resorts that you do not get at any of the other Universal Resorts is the Universal Unlimited Express Pass. That is the one thing that can be a deal changer, and you have to weigh this heavily when making your final decision. The Prime Value Resorts are a great option, and if you plan your days well, these could be the best option for you.
