Breaking News on the New Disney Magic Band 2022
As a component of the 50th Anniversary Event at Disney World, guests can expect to see and experience the new MagicBand+ with all of its new features and fun.
Disney has always been known for pushing the envelope when it comes to technology. None more than the invention of the Disney Magic Band system that started back in 2013. I remember, right before it was released wondering if this was going to be a good thing for Disney World or just a gimmick that might fall flat.
Well, it was a huge success and I have to say it was very exciting that the first summer we gave the Disney Magic Band a try and were easily won over by the functionality and its abilities. It was such a wonderful way to get around and manage everything on your account. The first Magic Band gave you entry to your room, the ability to purchase items at all of the Disney Locations, Park entry, and it is amazing when you use it with the PhotoPass system.

So, on to the MagicBand+, a next-generation device for Disney guests. Of course, you can expect the new MagicBand+ to have all of these same wonderful options. Get ready to hear about all of the other abilities of this new band. I can promise you that I will not pass judgment on the MagicBand+ before having a chance to give it a try. I am sure Disney has worked hard at making sure the release of the next version of the Magic Band rivals everything in the past.

The new Disney Magic Band Plus is truly designed to involve you in your surroundings. Interact with Golden Character Collections in the different parks, watch your band light up when watching nighttime events in the sky and so much more. It is truly an exciting time with Disney and the new MagicBand+ should get everyone who visits more involved in the fun.
Do I have to get a Magic Band Plus when they are available?
It appears that Disney is going to continue with the standard Magic Bands as well as offering the new MagicBand+ as well. This will allow Disney guests to pick the best options that work for them.
