Bay Lake Tower Room Layout
Elegance and Style along with a Contemporary flair in design and feel is what you will see when looking at the Bay Lake Tower Room Layout. Do not expect to be staying in your average Hotel Room when visiting this Disney Vacation Club Resort. You will experience so much more with the smallest room being a Studio that accommodates up to 4 guests or bumping all the way up to a 3 Bedroom Grand Villa experience that can provide a place to stay for a clan of up to 12.
Disney Vacation Club Member?
Well, if you are already a Disney Vacation Club Member, you are already set to stay at one of the DVC locations available. If the Bay Lake Tower is not your home spot, you can put in your request for the Tower if you would like. So, how does this work for non-members? It used to be more difficult to stay at a Disney Vacation Club location because you would have to purchase points to stay at one of these locations. Now, you are able to book this location directly through the Disney website, just like the other resorts. You will find that many of the dates you are looking for might not be available but if you search a few months in advance, you might just find what you are looking for.
Studio or Multi-Bedroom Villa
No matter what size your family, the Bay Lake Tower Rooms will be able to take on just about any size. The smaller Studios have room enough for up to 4 guests where the 1 Bedroom can sleep up to 5. The largest Villa is the Grand 3 Bedroom that can sleep a whopping 12 guests at one time. This is due to the Master has a King bed while the other 2 Bedrooms host 2 Queen beds each. Add in a Queen Sleeper sofa and that is a lot of areas to handle everyone for the week. We will look at each of the Villa’s and the layout they have below. Studio Villa
The Deluxe Studio at the Bay Lake Tower has a total of 339 Square Feet of Living Space and sleeps up to 4 guests. If you are looking to have a big area to prepare meals, the Kitchen in the Studio might not meet the bill. It is large enough to heat something up in the morning in the microwave or keep some leftovers fresh in the Mini-refrigerator though. It might be small but it is functional with a counter, sink, and small cabinets. The Bedroom/Living Room are combined, similar to a standard hotel room, with a Queen size bed and a double sleeper sofa. A couple of chairs and a round table sitting across from the Sofa to add some more seating to the Living space of the room. A small but attractive bathroom is accessible from the front of the room. This is not a big space to get ready in the morning, especially for 4 people, but you can make do for a few days if you have to. Each of the rooms has a small balcony with two chairs, just big enough to enjoy the surrounding views and have some coffee in the morning. A great way to start each day.
Incredible Views?
All of the views are fantastic because most of them are overlooking the Pool, Bay Lake or even Magic Kingdom. The higher the room, the better the views, so ask for an upper floor and take it if you get the chance.
1 Bedroom Villa
The One-Bedroom Villa at the Bay Lake Tower has 803 Square Feet and can sleep up to 5 guests per room. The bedroom comes with a Queen size bed, corner chair, desk, flat-screen TV, and a nice large dresser. The bedroom has a private door to one section of the Bathroom that opens to the Bedroom and overlooks a large Jacuzzi Tub. The rest of the Master Bathroom has a luxurious feel as well with a granite top sink and a separate stand up shower. A second bathroom is available for the other guests as you enter the main door to the room. This bathroom comes with a tub/shower unit and a granite corner sink. Moving up to the 1 Bedroom Unit also gives you a nice size full kitchen with Full-Size appliances. A center island area helps when preparing meals but also works as a table with a couple of bar stools. A kitchen table and chairs are off to the side giving you plenty of space to dine in if you would like. The Living area has a sleeper sofa and a couple of chairs, one of which is a twin size sleeper chair. The balcony for the 1 Bedroom is much larger than the studio but only in length. You have access to this long balcony from the sliding doors off of the Master Bedroom or the Living room.
2 Bedroom Villa
The Two Bedroom Villa at Bay Lake Tower is made up by putting a 1 Bedroom Villa and a Studio together. This will give you plenty of space for up to 9 guests.
Full Resort Access
There are no additional Resort fees for this Resort so you will have full access to the large Swimming Pool with Zero Entry access as well as the large Water Slide. A nice Quiet Pool is also on the grounds for those looking for a more serene place to camp out. Staying at a location that has such nice room amenities is a plus but staying in a resort that is just a few short miles from Disney, Universal and SeaWorld is a huge bonus.
