The Bay Lake Tower Lake Buena Vista Fl is part of the Disney Contemporary Resort located on the beauty of Bay Lake. Although the Bay Lake Tower is designed to look like it is a part of the Contemporary Resort, you only have access to it if you have booked a room at this location. If you are staying at the Contemporary Hotel, you will see a connecting ramp but if you try to enter, you will be asked for a pass to get in.
Accommodations
The rooms are sleek and have a modern style with sharp lines to accentuate the contemporary feel of the attached resort. All of the rooms are considered well above average. Since this is a Disney Vacation Club member resort, you can expect even the smaller Studios to have a place to fix something to eat. That is right, all of these units come with a Kitchen or Kitchenette which gives you an advantage over some of the other Disney Resorts.

Pros:
The rooms are fantastic and the views of the Magic Kingdom cannot be beaten from the Bay Lake Tower in Disney World. So much fun at the pools and the water slide is a great addition that our kids loved so much. Being beside the Contemporary Resort gives you access to great food and entertainment. The monorail station is perfect for getting to the Magic Kingdom when you don't want to walk across the street. The bedding is superb and we got a great night's sleep.
Cons:
While the views are quite amazing and being this close to the Magic Kingdom is a wonder for your kids, the price is on up there. Be prepared to pay a premium to stay at the Bay Lake Tower Disney World. Being a DVC property, you do get some perks but some of the other Disney Vacation Club locations have a better theme.

Getting around
One of the big perks of staying at the Disney Resort Bay Lake Tower is the fact that it is so close to the Magic Kingdom. Imagine walking out on your very own balcony and there you see Cinderella’s Castle as your backdrop. Of course, not all rooms have this view but if you have an interest, you can upgrade to give this to your children. Since it is almost a stone’s throw away, you can venture out on foot to make the short trip to the gates of the Magic Kingdom. That is only one mode of transportation. You also have easy access to the Monorail system, buses, and even water taxi service.
Plenty of things to do
Splashing in the water is only part of the fun you will have at the Tower. Hop out of the water for a while and challenge your family to a fun round of Bocce Ball or maybe take park in a Shuffleboard game. The white sandy beaches are calling you by the Bay while you watch your other family members zipping around on the lake in their very own Water Craft rented from the marina.
