Disney Old Key West Resort Reviews
Pros:
Guests who stay at the Disney Old Key West Resort mostly enjoy the laid back feel of this Deluxe Disney Vacation Club Resort. The Villas are spacious and very clean. Staff at the front desk and at all locations around the Old Key West Resort are very kind and helpful. Our kids loved the main pool with the water slide and it was wonderful being at the edge of the water watching the boats go by. Taking a boat to Disney Springs was so much fun. Bringing our own food when staying in the 1-Bedroom Villa with a full kitchen made it feel like being at home. Great visit.
Cons:
There are a few reviews pointing out some of the less desirable issues found at the Old Key West Resort but most guests love the resort. Getting to the parks using the buses (which is the only transportation option for getting to the parks at Disney Key West Resort), is not as efficient as some of the other resorts and there are multiple bus stops making it hard to get to Magic Hours early in the morning. A few guests complained that there was no housekeeping but this is actually a planned process. OKW Resort is a Disney Vacation Club property and does not have cleaning through the week like a normal resort.
