You are in for a real treat when you stay at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando Florida. The design and layout of this resort are very different from other locations you could stay in the area. This is one location that allows you to choose from 3 different Florida locations under one roof, Key West, the Everglades, or stay in the St. Augustine area. Each one of the locations is very unique and offers its own style and wonderful scenery. You have the ability to explore all of these different locations while you are there, and you will want to take some time to explore all of the intricate details that have been included in this property.
Guest Rooms and Suites
The accommodations at this resort are all first class, with a total of 1,406 standard guestrooms and 115 Suites, 9 of which are Presidential Suites. It is a little different selecting your room when you stay at this resort; not only do you have to determine the right size for the vacation, but you also want to take some time to determine what type of views you would like to see during your stay. The rooms offer balconies that extend into the large glass atrium that houses the three different Florida places. Although you are able to look across the Atrium and see all of the locations in one place, you want to pick a room that gives you the main view you are looking for. If you are staying with your family for an entire week or more, you might want to look into upgrading your stay with one of the many different Suites available on the property. The Gaylord Palms Resort Reviews
Pros:
What a lovely place to visit any time of the year, says the majority of guests who go to the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando. The Atrium with areas themed for St. Augustine, Key West and the Everglades were amazing for us but the kids were truly fascinated. What a water park. With the expansion and having 7 large water slides as well as a kids splash park, there were times they didn't want to leave and even go to Disney. It is quite incredible how large this resort is and the number of restaurants makes it possible to dine here the whole time.
Cons:
Some of the guests talked about how incredible the public areas were but were not quite as impressed with their rooms. A few mentioned that they felt the rooms could use some updating for the price that was paid. It is really large, while most feel that this is what makes it such a fantastic resort, it was a little difficult to get around because it was so large in some guests opinions. Others felt the customer service was not up to what they were expecting.

Water Park Fun
The property is a beautiful sight to behold, and you will want to take the time needed to soak it all in. This being said, even though this property is a great place to hold business meetings and conferences, they did not leave any family fun water amenities out at all. For your family’s enjoyment, you first want to check out the Cypress Springs Family Fun Water Park. Sporting a play area built for the kids in mind, they will enjoy a splashing good time as they slide down one of the four twisting Water Slides, enjoy the easy access of a Zero-entry Swimming Pool and many other fun water soaking features. If you are looking to get away from some of the excitement and relax for a while, you will want to head over to the South Beach Pool. This pool is typically a more quiet place to have a drink while reading or just relaxing by the pool.
