Biking Trail

Renting a bike on you vacation is a great way to spend time with a family but it also gives you a way to enjoy the property from a different vantage point. While you are on the beautiful 25 minute bike trail it is a very nice ride through the entire property.

Tennis Court

A total of 3 Tennis courts are on the property and are well lit in the evenings. Bring your racket (or they have rentals) and enjoy some time knocking the ball around.

Beach Volleyball

Enjoy the beauty of a white sandy area designated for a nice game of Beach Volleyball.

Eco-Tour

Take a guided adventure down Shingle Creek in your very own canoe while enjoying the stories that go along with Shingle Creek. While paddling along, you will get to see a number of the local creatures that inhabit the area. It is fun for everyone involved and it gets you out on the beautiful lake surrounding the resort.

Kids Nite Out

Every Adult couple dreams of the times they get a little break from the kids and get to have some time to themselves. There is nothing wrong with pampering yourself in this way from time to time and the Gaylord Palms is prepared to help you get your night out. This in-room childcare service offers a Certified, insured staffer to play with your kids while you are away. Just reserve your spot with the Concierge staff and go out and enjoy. Bird Watching

If you have an interest in for the creatures in flight, you might want to take some extra time to explore the Guided Bird Watching Tour. You will be given a pair of binoculars and have the opportunity of seeing dozens of different winged species. Everything you need will be provided, even snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Check with the front desk for additional information and fees.

Kayak on the Grande Lake

If you have have not been kayaking before, now is a great time to give it a try. Your guide will get you all set for your adventure and show you how to paddle up and down the lake so you will feel comfortable during this adventure. Take in all of the scenic views around the lake.

Fishing

If you enjoy the sport of fishing or just enjoy the time sitting in a boat talking while others fish around you, the Ritz has a perfect excursion for you. If you are not experienced at fishing, a Casting Instruction class is offered to get you used the the equipment and also what you need to start out on this adventure. Once you are up to speed, you can tackle the Fishing Excursion where you get to fish along the private Shingle Pond with a fishing guide.

Ritz Kids available for ages 5 to 12

Give you child a great adventure and enroll them in the Ritz Kids day camp. They might not think this is something they want to do but after they have been there for a while, they will not want you to pick them up. This day camp has fully supervised activities such as:
