If your kids are looking for some dry, outdoor adventure, it might be appropriate to to show them the Summer Bay Resort Orlando Buccaneer Bay Adventure Park. You are probably thinking, how can there be more? We have already been to a couple of the 6 Heated, Outdoor Pools and our youngest ones absolutely loved splashing around at the Parrot Landing Water Park with dumping buckets and a water slide.
You have only seen part of what the Summer Bay Resort in Orlando has to offer. Everyone seems to get excited as they watch people cruising along on one of the Zip-lines over the lake near the Children’s Water Park. It makes you want to grab hold and take a true adventure. This is only one of the fun Outdoor Activities at Buccaneer Bay.
Buccaneer Bay Information:
- Lake Hours: Daily: 11am – 5pm
- Notice: Hours at the Adventure Park can change without notice. Always check the daily schedule at the hotel for the updated hours to the pools and any events.
- Pricing: Tickets can be purchased per activity or as an all day pass. If you are planning to go on more than 3 of the rides, it is probably better to get an all day ticket.
Zipline
Your Older kids will not want to stop riding the Zip-lines from the tall tower where you start to the finish on the other side of the lake. It is an exhilarating adventure to say the least and if they have an all day pass, they can ride it time and time again.
Rock Climbing Wall
Multiple guests can climb at the same time and even compete to get to the top if they would like. Fun for most kids, the Rock Climbing wall is a real accomplishment when you reach the top.
Extreme in-line Jumpers
Bounce and Jump and listen to the giggles as they do. Get your camera ready to capture smiles on their faces as they go to new heights on the In-Line Jumpers.
Bumper Boats
Multiple bumper boats are located on the lake next to Parrot Landing. Bumping is only half the fun, the rest is just being out on the lake floating around on your own bumper boat.
Giant Slide
Kids of all ages seem to always be drawn to slides and the large blow-up slide adds plenty of fun.
Buccaneer Bay is not Free
That is right, Buccaneer Bay is not included with your stay. The extra cost could be worth it if you were planning to stay at the Summer Resort in Orlando for an entire day.
