The Inn at Calypso Cay in Orlando might not be the largest but it does have some great Water Park like amenities. Your kids will have great fun at the largest pool with a zero-entry point, a large water slide, and some spouting fountains coming from large crabs mounted on the side of the pool. The adults will enjoy the many lounge chairs and hot tubs. There is also a fairly large splash zone with multiple fountains for the kids to play.
Calypso Cay Resort
Staying a little off of the beaten path has its advantages and The Inn at Calypso Cay Orlando is just outside of, what most consider, the central hub of Disney World. Still, the Calypso Cay Resort is close enough to the Disney Parks, within 10 - 15 minutes. On top of that, The Inn at Calypso Cay offers complimentary transportation to Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld. The Calypso Cay Resort would easily be an economical option for guests but the amenities are what many get excited about.

Calypso Cay Inn Accommodations
All of the 155 guest rooms at The Inn at Calypso Cay are smoke-free. The rooms are more like a typical hotel room with 323 square feet of space and the option of having 2 Queen Beds or a King with a Sofabed. The rooms with a Sleeper Sofa are a little larger and have a separate, semi-private living area. If you are bringing the kids along, consider booking the Family King Suite. Pros:
Many of the guests who stay at The Inn at Calypso Cay in Orlando really enjoy the pool area with a water slide and zero-entry access for the little kids. Other guests have talked about the staff and how accommodating and friendly they are. The rates are very inexpensive compared to other locations that have similar amenities.
Cons:
The reviews on the Calypso Cay Resort are all over the place. Some will say it is the greatest place for the money and others come up with plenty of reasons they are not pleased with their stay. Some talk about dirty carpets and it is also mentioned that this could be a really nice property if it was given some attention.

Fun Things to Do
Okay, so the kids are not going to want to leave the pool and water slide but there are other fun things at the Calypso Cay Inn. What about a fun pickup outdoor volleyball game or putting around at the miniature golf course. Other fun is a large outdoor playground and if you run into a rainy day, inside is a small arcade.
