Near Disney Springs
One of the greatest reasons to stay at the Wyndham Garden Hotel Lake Buena Vista is its close proximity to Disney Springs. It is so close in fact that no other non-Disney property is closer. The Lake Buena Vista Wyndham perches across the street with just a simple walkway separating the hotel grounds and the entrance to Disney Springs. Ease of access to amazing shopping and dining experiences are a huge plus when staying at this hotel.
Rooms
There are not any suites at the Wyndham Garden Disney Springs Hotel but the rooms are said to be clean and comfortable. Staying in a standard hotel room is normally fine when visiting Disney World since you are not in your room very much any way. Many guests feel it is just fine and the lower cost allows them to spend more time and money at the parks. Each room has either two double beds or a king bed. Ask for a room on one of the upper floors facing the Downtown Disney area and it is nice to see it from a higher vantage point at night.

Pros:
It would be tough to find a hotel any closer to Disney Springs says many of the guests who stay at the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista. Also, having built in transportation to all of the Disney Parks and Attractions without staying in a Disney Resort is a wonderful perk. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time at the Character Breakfast which was a big surprise since we did not know this was even an event at this hotel.
Cons:
While this hotel is within walking distance of Disney Springs, some people who visit don't feel that the rooms are as nice or well kept as other hotels around. The pool is not heated which is okay on warm days but when it cools down at night it is a little uncomfortable. There is not a free breakfast and the restaurants are a bit on the pricey side. We also didn't realize that the rooms were accessible from outer doors, not an inside hallway like a hotel has.

Pools
Kids and Adults will like the 2 outdoor, pools (not heated but warm most of the time). A hot tub is a great place to relax in the evenings when it cools down some and the Kids splash area it a wonderful area kids of all ages will take in.
Fun Things to Do
The Wyndham has some great recreation on-site and makes it simple to find things to do if you just want to stay around the area and not travel out for a day. Tennis Courts, Volleyball, a playground and even an indoor Arcade make for good family fun.
