The Coronado Springs Disney World Resort is split into 3 separate villages to give you a different feel as you walk around and experience the resort. The Casitas area is designed to give you a more urban feel while the Ranchos are more rustic and are designed to look like southwester pueblos. If you want to be on the Beach you will want to check out the Cabanas. On the economy side you can book rooms that are similar to regular hotel rooms having Queen or King Bed configurations. If you want a little more room during your stay the Suites are a great option. The rooms are themed to match the Spanish flare and offer views of different areas within the resort. You can request to have turn-down service and having complimentary WiFi access in all of the rooms and suites as well as most of the public areas in the resort, make it easy to keep in touch and have fun at the same time.

You might wonder why the "Above Average" reviews are not higher at the Disney Coronado Resort in Orlando Fl but much of this has to do with how large the Resort is. Much is said about how clean and nice this locations is and since it is a Disney property, the staff is well trained and very polite. It also has 4 bus stops at various places, making it more convenient to catch a ride to the Disney Parks. Loved the pools and the kids enjoyed the kids pool.

The biggest negative mentioned in many of the reviews is how much you have to walk to get anywhere on the resort. This is a huge property and setup with a convention center. Book early and choose the location that best fits your needs.

123 Foot Long Water Slide at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Orlando!

The main pool area, The Lost City of Cibola, is a great place to bring the whole family and relax. There is a long 123 foot water slide that the everyone will have a great time on as well as a huge 5 story Mayan temple built right in the middle creating a beautiful waterfall landscape to enjoy while you splash around. If you are looking for a quieter location, there are 3 quiet pools available, 1 at each of the different villages in the resort. You will also find many more things to do in the resort like a playground for the kids, shopping, a large video arcade room, Jogging trail and a Health club – just to name a few!

Disney Shuttle Services

As with most of the Disney Resort there is complimentary Shuttle Service to and from Orlando International Airport, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Blizzard Beach Water Park, Summerland Mini Golf Course, Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf Course, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Other Disney Resort Hotels. There is also complimentary ferry service to boat service to the other Disney hotels as well as a full monorail system to access the Disney Theme Parks.


There are a number of places to dine on the resort property but if you want something with a different flare, there are many restaurants nearby.
