The views are spectacular as you look out of your window or balcony, while looking over Crescent Lake or the pool area and other rooms have great views of Epcot and Hollywood Studios in the distance. When booking your room, make sure you book based on the view you would like to have of the Orlando area. Since the Dolphin and Swan hotels are sister properties, they also share many of the amenities that they have with guests. This allows for additional pools and dining options as you stay at either one of these resort properties.
Heated Pools and Waterfalls
When you decide to head out for some water fun on the property, you will find that there are 5 heated pools to choose from. The main pool designed with the beauty of the Tropics in mind with waterfalls and a twisting water slide and is where the kids will want to spend all of their time. The adults might want to slip off to one of the many other quiet pool areas where they can relax in a more tranquil setting while soaking in the Florida sun and reading a book. Four whirlpools are also located throughout the resort and offer a great place to relax and unwind for awhile. Since the resort is located on Crescent Lake, the Cabana Beach Hut provides options for additional water sports, tube and raft rentals. Enjoy walking along the white sandy beaches along the shores of Crescent lake, sit by the lake on one of the many lounge chairs and watch the kids build a sand castle. You might find yourself wanting to take a jog around the complex or shoot some hoops, whatever you want to do, you will find it here at the Dolphin Resort.
There are so many different dining options at this resort, you might find that you never want to leave. These options include casual dining up to the more formal experience. There are also some venues that offer dining with some of the Disney characters. Make sure to make reservations for these ahead of time so your kids can have an experience that they will take with them through the rest of their life. If you decide to venture off of the property for something else to eat, remember that you are in the heart of Orlando and the options are endless. You will not have to look very far to find any type of cuisine that you are in the mood for. Travel to the Disney Parks using the Disney Transportation system and you can just leave your car parked for most if not the entire trip. This makes getting around easy and you don’t have to worry about getting lost in an area you are not familiar with.
