Airport Transportation is available through Rideshare Services such as Uber and Lyft. Mears Connect and Sunshine Flyer offer shuttle services and might be more affordable for groups. Rental cars are also an option and can be rented directly from the airport. Taxis are another option but might be a more expensive transportation.

- Each of the rooms and Villas at the Animal Kingdom Lodge have either a Patio or a Balcony. Some have magnificent views of the Savanna where you can take in the animals roaming during the day. If you are interested in a room with views of the animals, be sure to select the correct room or contact Disney to be certain you are in a room overlooking the Savanna.

Yes. The check-in process is amazing at all of the Disney resorts. Once you receive your confirmation, you can login to the Disney Portal or Disney App and complete your check in process. Once completed, you will be assigned a room when available and sent a message to let you know it is ready. All you have to do is show up, go to your room and unlock the door with your Phone or Magicband. If you prefer to have a card for entry, you can stop at the front desk and the Disney Cast Members will be happy to give you one.

- If you are looking for a helping hand during your stay, you might consider the option of hiring staff from the Kid’s Nite Out Program. These child helpers are insured and bonded with hands on training with CPR and First Aid. So sit back and take a night off while you enjoy your vacation by having an in-room babysitter for your children from 6 months to 12 years of age. You can even reserve a childcare professional to join you on your days at the parks to give you that extra little help with the kids when you need it. When in Africa you must try some of the African inspired foods at the Boma-Flavors Restaurant. Dine in a beautiful african setting and enjoy many different items in the Buffet Style restaurant.
Sanaa
Take in the sights of the animals roaming and grazing through the savanna as you enjoy a wonderfully prepared meal at the Sanaa. Many slow cooked specialties have been prepared for your dining enjoyment. This is something you have to try when you stay at the lodge.
Jiko – The Cooking Place
There are so many different options and styles of cuisine when you dine at Jiko. Not only enjoy some African entrees but also try some of the great Indian and Mediterranean dishes that they have to offer. Ask your server which wines would be best for each plate.
The Mara
If you are looking for something a little more on the casual side, head over to The Mara and enjoy dining from morning until night. You will be impressed with the variety of American meals like Pizza, Burgers and Sandwiches. This is a place your kids will want to come again and again.
