Disney Coronado Springs Reviews
Pros:
The Disney Coronado Springs Resort is huge and is also the only Disney Moderate Resort with a convention center. If you are a family staying at the resort, it is not a big concern that this is also a business resort. Disney does a really good job of keeping the business side away from all of the family fun but it is a great place to stay if you are a business traveler as well. Our kids loved the Mayan style Family pool area and we had a tough time pulling them away from the large water slide. The bar area was nice at the pool with plenty of relaxing spots with lounge chairs all around. The children's pool is shallow and away from the larger kids so it is more safe for them. Staying in the double queen room was enough space for the four of us and the bedding is amazing.
Cons:
Wow, the Coronado Springs Resort is really big. Many guests find this to be a positive but if you are staying at one of the buildings far from all of the food, be prepared for a long walk every time you are hungry. Bus transportation is available in each of the villages so that is not a big walk but know that it does take a little longer to get to the parks since there are multiple stops at the Coronado Springs Resort. If you are concerned about walking, you might consider spending a few dollars more to get the preferred room. We were also surprised that we had to pay for parking each night. Previous times we have stayed on Disney property, this was included - Not anymore! Be sure you add this in to your vacation cost as this can really add up.
