Dockside Inn and Suites Universal Theme Park Benefits
If you are staying at one of the Universal Orlando Resorts, more than likely you will be visiting the fun that the Universal Theme Parks have to offer. Staying at the Dockside Inn and Suites gains you access to many of the perks available to Universal guests.
Do I get the Unlimited Express Pass if I stay at Universal’s Dockside Inn and Suites?
No – Unlimited Express Passes do you come with your stay at the Dockside Inn and Suites
The Dockside Inn and Suites, while a great place to stay, is a Universal Resorts Value hotel. Since it is not one of the Premiere Resorts it does not come with the Unlimited Express Pass option.
This does not mean that you can not get Express passes though. You can purchase daily express passes when you get your Universal Theme Park Tickets. Unlimited express passes come with booking one of the Universal Premiere Resorts like the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, or the Hard Rock Hotel.
Do I get the early access to the Universal Parks?
Yes
Transportation and early access to the Universal Parks are the primary reasons to stay at one of the Universal Resorts. Early access gets you into the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure Harry Potter World sections (if you have purchased a ticket for both parks). Once you have this opportunity, you will never want to stay at an offsite hotel ever again.
Early Admission to the Universal Parks
The very first time you get to use the Early Access to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure or the Volcano Bay Water Park, you feel a special excitement. What an amazing feeling to be in a smaller group, having access to the Harry Potter sections of the parks. Incredible are the rides in Harry Potter's sections and having early access breaks you away from the larger crowds that come in later in the morning.
On top of getting into the parks early, if you purchased a multi-park ticket, you also get to hop on the Hogwarts Express Train. The train will take you on a fantastic journey from Universal Studios to Islands of Adventure.

Free Shuttle Service
Buses run frequently to the front of the Dockside Inn and Suites. There is no need to take your vehicle anywhere. Let Universal Transportation take care of everything as they drive you to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and even City Walk.
Typcially, the Shuttle buses will arrive every 15 minutes or so. The pickup and dropoff location is at the front of the Dockside Inn and Suites, between the 2 towers.
Room Key Payments
As soon as you check in to the Dockside Inn and Suites you get a keycard to your room which not only opens your room but also is can be used for payment in the parks.
