The pool area at the Flamingo Crossing Home2 Suites is very large and accommodates a number of guests with ease. One one end of the pool is zero-entry access with bubbling fountains and on the other, steps lead into the pool. A fun twisting water slide is also a part of this pool area with an open flume that spills out into its own cove. Seating with lounge chairs, tables, and chairs and the shade from umbrellas provides a nice space to relax. One thing to note is that this pool is also shared with a neighboring Hilton property and can get a little crowded at times.

Nothing but suites are available at Home2 Suites. The Flamingo Crossing Home2 Suites has a total of 271 guestrooms. Booking a Studio Suite is the most economical and gives you plenty of space for 4 guests and a nice kitchenette. The 1 Bedroom Suite offers additional space with a private bedroom and the 2 Bedroom Suite can sleep up to 6 guests. If you have not been to a Home2 Suites by Hilton before, it can be a nice surprise when you walk into your room for the first time. The kitchenette in each room has a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and sink with counter space. What you will not find is an oven or stovetop. The living space in the one and two-bedroom suites offers a great place to relax and share the encounters of your day.

Pros:
Looking at the Reviews of the Hilton Home2 Suites Flamingo Crossing, when you see such high numbers on the above-average side, you expect some good comments. Guests really like the size of the suites and also like that the commute to Disney World is not very long. Having a kitchenette with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and sink is a nice addition. Kids really like the pool with the water slide. The staff is very nice and helpful. Cons:
It is not easy to find less than good reviews but there are always some. A few of the guests felt that there were no restaurants nearby. While you do have to get in your car to find a restaurant, you will not have to go more than a few minutes. However, if you want something within walking distance, you will not find a lot. The kitchenette is nice but preparing a meal would be difficult unless you are making sandwiches. While you have a refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, you do not have a stovetop or oven. There are grills outside, so you could grill something if you would like.

Disney World Theme Parks are on the mind of most guests who visit Orlando. However, there is a lot to do around the Home2 Suites Flamingo Crossing. Just a few minutes away are multiple golf courses. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure is only about 18 miles north and can be a great break from the Disney Parks.
