Does the Surfside Inn and Suites offer transportation to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, City Walk and Volcano Bay?

Yes!
The Universal’s Endless Summer Resort, Surfside Inn provides Shuttle Service with its buses. The pickup and dropoff point is left of the entrance to the Surfside Inn and Suites. You can get your day started by hopping on one of the Universal Shuttle buses as early as 1 hour before prior to park opening and return as late as 2 am. The Shuttle bus schedule is typically around 15 minutes so you never have to wait very long to get where you need to go.

Once you are on the bus, you will be dropped off at the City Walk drop-off spot where you can easily make your way to the entrance of Islands of Adventure of Universal Studios. The bus will also take you to the entrance of the Volcano Bay Water Park.

Can I walk to the Parks?

Yes, you can walk to the Universal Theme Parks. To get to the Parks from the Surfside Inn and Suites, you will walk down the walkway on Universal Blvd, to the bus drop-off station for City Walk. Take the escalator or stairs up to the walking bridge and make your way through City Walk and then on to the Universal Theme Parks. The total walk is about 1.2 miles. While you can technically walk to Volcano Bay Water Park, it is not recommended as the walk is about 2.5 miles from the Surfside Inn and Suites. You might want to take the Shuttle for this one.

Can I use the Water Taxi if I stay at the Surfside Inn and Suites?

The water taxi system does not extend to the Universal’s Endless Summer Resort Surfside Inn and suites. Since the Surfside Inn and Suites is located on the opposite side of I-4 than the Theme Parks, there is no way to extend the waterway to these resorts. You are allowed to use the Water Taxi once you make it to the other side though. Take some time to explore some of the Universal Orlando Premier Resorts that do offer water taxi service.

Is it possible to get a shuttle to Disney World?

Transporation to Disney World can be arranged by using the Universal Orlando Vacation Planning Center. This is not included with any of the reservations at Universal Resorts, so expect to pay extra for any transportation outside of the Universal Orlando World.

The Disney Ticket and Transportation Center is about 20 – 25 minutes south of of Universal Orlando. Getting to Disney is not a difficult task and you might find that contacting Mears Transportation System or Uber is a better option.

How about SeaWorld, does Cabana Bay have a shuttle to take you there?

No!If you want to get to SeaWorld or Aquatica, your best option would be to contact Mears Transportation System or call an Uber.

Is there a shuttle to get you from the MCO Airport to Surfside Inn and Suites?

You can arrange for various Shuttle service, but none of the options are free.

Here are a list of Surfside Inn and Suites Airport Shuttle options:

• Call the Sufside Inn and Suites Concierge and they can help you with your transporation from the Orlando Airport. The Universal Orlando team uses Destination MCO to book your Shuttle to and from the MCO airport and it will cost you an additional amount.
• Taxi service is always a valid option for guests. Contact the Mears Transportation System. Mears has been been around for a very long time and is considered a safe way to travel.
• Calling an Uber is another great option and one that most people prefer.

What about transportation to the Amway Center?

No
The Amway Center is used for many conventions, concerts and large events. If you want transportation to the Amway Center in Orlando just contact Mears Transportation System or Uber.
