Get in the Zone! The sports zone that is when you stay at the All Star Sports Resort Disney. What fun to stay in one of the themed areas like, Surfing, Football, Basketball, Tennis or Baseball. No matter which area you choose, be sure to walk around and see all of the neat additions to each sport. Most of the areas have real team logos displayed so see if you can find your favorite teams. The Disney All Star Sports Resort is one of the Disney World Value Resorts, but still offers all of the advantages you get by staying at any of the more expensive Deluxe Resorts.
Rooms at the All-Star Sports
True, the All-Star Sports Resort does not have all amenities or fun things to do, you find at the Moderate or Deluxe Resorts but having early access to the parks and the Disney famous transportation at your fingertips, is a huge plus. The All-Star Sports Resort has a total of 1,920 rooms. All of the rooms are setup like Standard Hotel rooms with about 240 Square Feet of space and 2 Double Beds. Some of the rooms offer a King Size bed but these are designated as Handicapped rooms. Family Suites are not available at the Disney All-Star Sports but there are a few Disney Value Resorts that do. Take a look at either the All-Star Music Suites or the Art of Animation Family Suites.
Disney's All Star Sports Reviews
Pros:
What a great location and value we found the Disney All-Star Sports Resort to be. The Disney Cast members are always helpful, courteous and kind. The food was pretty good since it was coming from a Food Court style establishment. As always, we stay at a Disney World Resort for the incredible transportation but our kids loved the Sports theme since they play tennis and basketball. The most difficult thing was picking which area to stay in. The pools are warm and having lifeguards on duty give you a better sense of security.
Cons:
The food is okay but not as good as it is at the Moderate and Deluxe Resorts but you can't expect them to for the price. I don't like that you have to pay for parking. I remember the days when that is what set Disney Resorts apart from the Universal Resorts. Now they are about the same. The rooms are definitely on the small side but we were in the parks most of the time so although it was tight we made do.

Fun Things to Do
Surf’s Up at the Family Surfing Themed Pool and obviously the pools are going to be the most fun at the All-Star Sports Resort. What other fun options are there. Well, for one thing, it is fun just to walk around and look at all of the cool larger than life sports sections. Huge footballs, tennis court and even a pool shaped like a baseball diamond. The kids will have a great time seeing their Disney Pals playing in each area. Inside of Stadium Hall, you will also find a large arcade and Disney store for added fun.

Pets are not allowed at the Disney All-Star Sports Resort. Service animals are welcome. Did you know some of the Disney World Resorts are Pet Friendly?

Dining
Enter the END ZONE FOOD COURT for dining options, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good, inexpensive options are on the menu and this is more of a food court style with great options for everyone in the family. Pizza is also a great option and can be delivered right to your room.
