Other Things to Do
If you love the outdoors, the better question would be, is there anything I can’t do at the Disney Wilderness Cabins? The amazing answer to this question is, “There are more things to keep you busy at the Disney Fort Wilderness Cabins and Campground than any other Disney Resort location.” Archery, Pony Rides, Horseback Riding, Tennis, Volleyball, Wagon Rides, and even Water Sports. Make it a point to visit the Campfire Sing-a-long that happens nightly with Chip n’ Dale. Kids love this event and will want to come back again and again.
Pets
There are only a few Pet Friendly Hotels in Disney World and the Cabins at Disney Wilderness Campground are one of those places. There is a Pet Policy when you bring your dog with you so be sure to check that out and it is always a good idea to check with the front desk to see if there have been any changes to the policy before you book your room. Service animals are welcome.
Resort Fees
There are not any additional Resort Fees when you stay at the Fort Wilderness Cabins in Disney World.
Parking
Each of the cars brought in to the Disney Fort Wilderness Resort will have a nightly fee.
Fitness Center
There is not a Fitness Center at the Fort Wilderness in Disney but with all of the Fun Things to Do, who would have time. If you want to get your workout in, there is a jogging trail around the resort.
Dining
Finding something good to eat is an easy thing to do and with the down-home, country cooking feel, there is never an excuse to leave the table hungry. Before heading off on a day of fun, whether it be at the Disney Theme Parks or the Fort Wilderness Pools, be sure to start off with a great breakfast at the Trail’s End Restaurant. The Chuck Wagon food truck is on hand around the Resort serving up great burgers and hot dogs. Guest at Disney World come from all around to delight in the Food and Show at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. This is a family favorite and many families make this a vacation staple that has to be done each time they visit Disney World.
