Shuttle Service at the Beach Club Disney Resort
Boats, Buses, and Walking are the modes of transportation available when you stay at the Disney Beach Club Resort. What many guests don’t realize is, the Disney Beach Club Resort is the closest Disney World Resort to Epcot. In fact, it is only a 0.2-mile walk from the back doors of the Beach Club Resort to the rear entrance to Epcot. This makes for easy access and quick fun entering into the World Showcase. The water taxi system will get you to Hollywood Studios, Epcot or even shuttle you across the Crescent Lake to the Boardwalk Inn Resort. To get to the Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom, hop on one of the Shuttle Buses in the front of the Beach Club Resort.
Fun outside of Disney World?
There is a lot to do in Orlando that does not include Mouse Ears. So much fun can be had by heading west on I-4 up to the Universal Orlando Theme Parks where the World of Harry Potter will astound. SeaWorld is not far away either. Keep in mind, if you leave Disney World, free transportation is not provided. If you have your own vehicle, this is not an issue at all but if you are looking to get around Orlando, here are a couple of other options:

What Disney Transporation are available for the Disney Beach Club Resort?
Water Taxi
The water taxi is a fun and relaxing way to get around to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. There is also a water shuttle to take you to the Boardwalk Inn across the lake.
Shuttle Buses
Disney shuttle buses can get you to all of the parks including the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Don't forget about Disney Springs and the Disney Water Parks.
Walking
Walking might not be your first thought when getting around Disney World but knowing that you are only 0.2 miles from the entrance to the World Showcase at Epcot, walking is by far the fastest way to get in. There is also a nice walking path along the waterway to get you to Hollywood Studios. This walking is a little more than a mile long.
Monorail
Well, the Monorail does NOT connect to the Beach Club Resort but if you walk to Epcot (a 0.2 mile walk to the World Showcase entrance), you can hop on the Monorail and take it to the Magic Kingdom.
Getting to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure from the Disney Beach Club Resort?
The World of Harry Potter awaits at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. You will not be disappointed when you take a couple of days and venture West to take in all that Universal Orlando has to offer. Disney transportation will not get you there so be sure to schedule a Mears Taxi or setup Uber. The Universal Orlando dropoff is about 13.9 miles away and takes about 25 minutes in regular traffic.
How far away is SeaWorld and Aquatica from Disney's Beach Club Resort?
Heading up to SeaWorld can be such a fun adventure for the kids. Watch the Killer Whales, dolphins and sea lions perform as well as learn about so many fish and sharks. Add to this a wide array of rides and attractions and SeaWorld becomes a great place to visit for a day or two. Disney transportation does not get you to SeaWorld or Aquatica because they are outside of Disney World. Driving your own vehicle is an option if you have one or you can schedule a Mears Taxi Service or get an Uber. SeaWorld is about 9 miles away and takes about 20 minutes to get to from the Beach Club Resort.
How far away is MCO Airport? Is there a free shuttle from the Airport?
The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 22 miles away from the Disney Beach Club. Disney provides complimentary transportation to and from the MCO airport when you stay at the Beach Club Resort in Disney World. Just place a call to 407.939.1936 or in the UK call 0800.16.90.730 to talk to a Disney Cast member and they will get the Disney Magical Express ready pick you up on your date of arrival. Tell the reservationist when you will arrive and depart on your flight, and they will take care of the rest.
