Disney Beach Club Reviews

 PROS

Pros:
"What a lovely stay!" is what many of the guests say when visiting the Disney Beach Club Resort and leave a review. Situated right beside Epcot and being able to easily walk from the Beach Club Resort to the back entrance to the Epcot theme park was a real treat. Our kids had the best time in the Stormalong Bay Waterpark with its 3 pools, lazy river and water slide. Crescent Lake shimmers in the morning light and the beach area is one of the best in Disney World. We really enjoyed the fine dining options but our favorite is Beaches and Cream where the kids got ice cream almost every day.

 CONS

Cons:
As with all of the Disney Resorts, if you have a vehicle, you will be paying for each night of Self or Valet parking so be sure to add this in to the overall cost of your visit. Another complaint that you will run into is the Disney transportation does not seem to be aa smooth or run quite as frequently in the past. Be aware that the buses are shared between the Disney Yacht Club Resort and the Beach Club. Some of the guests were upset about there being too few buses and many of them being full and overcrowded when they get to the Beach Club.

Property Perks

The Beach Club Resort is located so close to Epcot that you can easily walk across the bridge and enter into the park without any other transportation necessary. This location, where the Beach Club stands, is extremely convenient and central to all the festivities. Just look across the Crescent Lake and you will see all of the fun going on at night at the Disney Boardwalk Inn. Next door you will find the Disney Yacht Club Resort which is the sister to the Beach Club. These resorts share amenities with each other so it is like getting a two-for-one deal when you visit. Fireworks can be seen by sitting out by the Lake or lawn each evening.

Fun Things to Do

There is no doubt that your kids will grab you by the hand each day, pulling you toward the Pools and water slide that make up the Stormalong Bay Waterpark but there are many other things to do around the Disney Beach Club Resort. Sit by the campfire at night and sing family songs, watch the fireworks at night from the lawn or lake-side, or rent a boat from the Marina and see the Crescent Lake from a different perspective. On top of all of this, you can also go fishing, play some tennis, get some other guests together for a volleyball match or head over to the arcade and get out of the heat for a while. This is just the start to the adventures you will have at the Disney Beach Club Resort.

Pets

If you are interested in bringing your dog with you to Disney World, know that the Disney Beach Club Resort does not allow pets but the Disney Yacht Club Resort next door does.
