Recreation at the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort
Nestled on the banks of Willow Lake, watching a car go by on the water, is just one of the wonderful, fun things you can do while staying at the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort. Yes, an amphibious car can be seen zipping by on the water from The Boathouse Restaurant across the pond at Disney Springs. After the kids see this they will certainly want to head to one of the Family Pools with water slide like the High Rock Spring Pool or the Paddock Pool. The Paddock Pool even has a kids splash park with 2 smaller water slides. The Disney Vacation Club Saratoga Springs Resort has so much to do, you will want to take at least a full day to explore. After a fun day at the parks, bring the family to the campfire fun with roasting marshmallows and even making smores. Once you have finished eating, sit back and relax at the outdoor big screen movie showing under the stars. Continuing the adventure, and preparing for another day of great fun, rent a bike or surrey on Broadway and make your way around the Saratoga Springs Resort. Arcade - Win, Place or Show
Located beside the High Rock Spring Pool area, you will find the Win, Place or Show Arcade with many of the new electronic games as well as some throwbacks from years past. Get out of the sun for a bit and try something different.
Bike & Surrey Rentals
Bikes and Surrey rentals are available on Broadway, just after passing the High Rock Spring Pool area, around the corner on your right at Horsing Around Rentals. Renting a bike is a great way to see all of the Saratoga Springs Resort but it is also a fun way to spend time together as a family. You will want to walk through the Community Hall to the rental counter and a Disney Cast member will get you signed up and ready to ride.
Community Hall
Sit down at a table and play family board games, build crafts together or enjoy complimentary foosball and ping pong. Kids will love the Community Hall and this is a great place to make some family memories and get out of the Florida heat for a while. The community hall is located on Broadway, just behind the High Rock Spring Pool.
Basketball Court
Get some friends together and head over to the Basketball court to shoot some hoops. A half-court is located near the entrance to the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort, to the right just behind the main entrance parking lot.
Tennis Courts
Two, tennis courts await your arrival. Grab your family members and challenge them to a match. The tennis courts are located to the right just behind the main entrance parking lot.
Jogging Trails
Whether you are walking, running or somewhere in between, the two trails ( 1.44 mile and 0.8 mile ) around the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort wind you around the property along some of the prettiest waterways and golf course views in Disney World.
Campfire Activities
What better time could you spend with your kids than to sit by a fire, roasting marshmallows and eating smores. Meet the Disney Cast member by the fire and strike up a conversation while you build a memory your child will never forget.
Movies under the stars
A classic or new Disney Movie plays throughout the week and is one of the best ways to wind down a busy day at the parks. Get some popcorn and sit around laughing together while watching a movie before bedtime. Check the front desk for the latest times. On some days, they might be shown on the Courtyard and others at the Community Hall.
Playground
Near the Congress Park quiet pool, you will find a wonderful, dry playground for the kids to climb, slide and make friends.
Fishing
Staying on Willow Lake gives you some options that you might not find at all of the Disney Resorts, like Fishing. Take a guided bass fishing trip and enjoy a day on the water.
