Victorian Style at Disney Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa
Known for elegance and style of the 1800’s Victorian retreat in New York, the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa reminds us of the golden days of horse racing and early spas. Situated on Willow Lake, the Saratoga Springs Resort has a wonderful view of Disney Springs from the banks and fun water taxi transportation to take you back and forth for dining and shopping. The sprawling grounds take you across beautifully landscaped areas and parts of the Saratoga Springs Resort are located on the Disney Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.
Room and Villas
If you did not already know, the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort is a Disney Vacation Club Resort only. Take your pick from a Deluxe Studio that sleeps 4, spread out in a one (1) or two (2) Bedroom Villa sleeping up to 8 or really go for an adventure and step up to a stand-alone Treehouse Villa with room for 9. Each unit is built on stilts to give the feeling of being in an actual treehouse and give you the feeling that you are all alone. What a unique and wonderful experience to give the family on your once-in-a-lifetime trip. Whatever Villa you decide to stay in will be a great choice, but if you were ever going to splurge on a vacation stay, this might be the time to consider it. Disney Saratoga Springs Resort Reviews
Pros:
Most of the guests who stay at the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort love the layout, recreation, and the amenities. Beautiful grounds and landscaping take you back in time to an era where life ran at a slower pace. Our kids loved the pools, especially the family pools with the water slides. Staying in one of the updated Villas was very clean and comfortable and the staff was great at all times. Having the ability to get on the water taxi to Disney Springs is a great perk.
Cons:
The bus stops are spread out at many different locations to pick up guests wherever they are staying, while it is nice not to have to walk very far to the bus stop, we felt like the transportation took longer than at some of the other Disney Resorts. A few guests, who were not Disney Vacation Club members were not happy with the fact that they had to pay for parking.

Fun Things to Do
If you can get the kids away from the Family Pools with amazing water slides you will find that there are some really wonderful things to do around Disney Saratoga Springs Resort. Take the day and have a blast at the Disney Parks and when you come back “Home”, watch a Disney family movie together under the Florida sky. Roasting marshmallows is one of the most memorable activities you can do as a family, and you can do it each night at Disney Saratoga Springs Resort. Take a bike ride, go fishing, play some basketball or tennis, and this is just a start to the fun.
Pets
Leaving your pet at the kennel to head off on your family vacation is heartbreaking. Disney Saratoga Springs is not a pet-friendly resort there are a number of Pet-Friendly Hotels in Disney World if you are interested in bringing your pet with you. Service animals are welcome at the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort.
Resort Fees
There are no additional Resort Fees when staying at the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort.
Parking
Self-Parking is available and is free for Disney Vacation Club Members. If you are renting points or have booked a room outside of being a DVC member, you will have a nightly fee for parking.
Transportation at the Saratoga Springs Resort
As with all Disney resorts, you will have access to the vast array of transportation to all of the Themed Disney areas in Walt Disney World. Disney Saratoga Springs Resort also has access to the Water Taxi system allowing you to take to the open lakes to get to Disney Springs as well. The Saratoga Springs Resort shares the same lake as Disney Springs, making it easy to get back and forth to this wonderful land of magical Shoppes and a wide array of dining experiences. It is also a wonder to just sit across the lake and enjoy the lights and festivities that others can only dream about.

A full-service Fitness Center is available at the Disney Saratoga Springs Resort.
