Not only are you about 10 minutes away from Disney World, but you also will be staying in a suite with a lot more room than a standard hotel. A large pool awaits with a water slide adding a lot of fun for the kids as well.
Suites at the Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossing
No standard hotel rooms here. When you stay at the Homewood Suites, you will be staying in a larger, well-appointed suite. Nothing but suites are available at Home2 Suites. Tale your choice between 229 guestrooms. The Studio Suite is a great option for 2 guests but can sleep up to 4 with the added sleeper sofa in the living area. The studio comes with a full kitchen and large appliances but it is not as large as the one-bedroom suites.
Do you need some additional privacy? Consider one of the 1-Bedroom Suites When booking a one-bedroom option, you can get the King Bedroom or the Double Queen beds. The only difference is the number of guests you can sleep with, and maybe a little more comfort. If you go with the King Bedroom Suite, you can sleep 2 guests in the private bedroom and 2 on the sleeper sofa. If, on the other hand, you need to sleep up to 6 guests, the Double Queen 1 Bedroom suite will be more comfortable. Each of these suites have a full kitchen with large appliances and a cooktop stove. You will not find an oven in any of the Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossing.

Pros:
The reviews for the Homewood Suites at Flamingo Crossing are pretty good, that is for sure. Guests talk about the front desk staff is well trained and very helpful even if something doesn't go as smoothly as planned. It is nice being close enough to the Disney Parks to not have a long commute but far enough away to get away from all that is Disney. The rooms are clean and large. Kids loved the pool and water slide.
Cons:
There are not a bunch of negative reviews. Be sure to check the latest TripAdvisor reviews before booking. Also, a couple of guests mentioned the shuttle service to the parks is an additional fee per person. The only other item you see is that the pool is shared with the neighboring hotel and can get a little crowded.
