Loews Aventura Hotel Universal Orlando
Designed as one of the Prime Value Hotels in the Universal Orlando Hotel line, the Loews Aventura Hotel Universal Orlando is one of the Value Hotels within walking distance of the Universal Theme Parks and Water Park. Towering a full 17 stories, the Aventura Hotel is the tallest Resort in the lineup of the Universal Resorts. If you look at the hotel from the top, it almost looks like one of those fidget spinner toys. The Aventura Hotel is modern with sleek lines and an almost completely glass exterior. Walk inside and that same style is shown throughout, with clean lines and a lot of white with splashes of color to make the different areas stand out.
Universal’s Aventura Accommodations
Since the Aventura Hotel is one of the value properties offered by Universal, the prices are a bit lower than staying at some of the more Premiere Resorts like the Portofino Bay Hotel or the Hard Rock Hotel. The Aventura falls more in line with the Cabana Bay Beach Resort in its pricing. The 600 Rooms and Suites spread out across the 17-story structure can give you some really great views of the Parks when you visit. The rooms are designed in a more minimalistic styling with clean lines and comfortable bedding. The Kids Suite has additional space, sleeps up to five (5) guests and includes two (2) twin beds.

Aventura Hotel Reviews
Pros:
The Aventura Hotel is clean and wonderful. Staying on the upper floors gave us great views of the Universal Parks. The rooms come with an iPad allowing you to control your environments like the thermostat, lighting and even the TV with access to Netflix and Hulu. Everything in the room has clean lines and not a lot of theming or frills but it was comfortable. We loved having a Starbucks in the Hotel - great way to start each day. Transportation to and from the parks was easy and our kids like the pool area even though it did not have a water slide or a lazy river.
Cons:
It seems like a running theme of the Aventura is the cost of the food. Guests have mentioned that the options are smaller and cost more than other neighboring hotels in the Universal chain. Also, some have talked about how much fun their kids had at other resorts that had a water slide or a lazy river but there is nothing like that at the Aventura hotel.

Fun Activities at the Aventura Hotel
The Aventura Hotel is not a full resort, so it is a little limited in what it offers for additional activities. The Game Room does stand out with a Virtual Reality section giving you an experience like no other Universal Resort. There is also a Universal Store in the Hotel to pick up the latest merchandise before hitting the parks. The Loews Sapphire Falls Resort is right next door so be sure to check it out during your stay.
Best Room Location
The higher up you go, the better the views you will have looking out on the resort and Universal’s Theme Parks. Staying on a higher floor also will give you a quieter stay above all of the noise on the ground levels.
Pets
Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bring your pet to the Aventura Hotel. If you are interested in bringing your best fluffy friend, consider booking at the Pet Friendly, Portofino Bay, Royal Pacific, Hard Rock Hotel or even the neighboring Sapphire Falls Resort. All of these Universal Properties accept pets, but there is a fee for keeping them with you at the resort so be sure to check out the latest fees at the front desk.
Spa Treatments
There is not a Spa at the Aventura Hotel.
Dining
Unlike any of the other dining experiences at the other Universal Resorts, the Bar 17 Bistro sits atop the 17th floor of the Aventura Hotel offering a wonderful view while having unique as well as classic cuisine. The Urban Pantry is a food hall with many different food stations like Asian, Burgers, Pizza and they serve all day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Oh, and yes, there is a Starbucks on site to be certain you start your day off right.
Transportation to Universal Theme Parks
One of the benefits of staying at any of the Universal Resorts is the complimentary shuttle to and from the parks. The Aventura Hotel offers shuttle bus and walking options, but they do not mention a water taxi. Since you are staying right beside the Sapphire Falls Resort, you can easily walk to the water taxi pickup and get to the parks and other Universal Resorts by this mode of transportation as well.
