While the Springhill Suites at Flamingo Crossing does not qualify as a Water Park Hotel, it does have a very nice pool area for the family. The pool is very large, with zero entry on one side and bubbling fountains in the shallow water for the kids to enjoy. Seating is plentiful with chairs with tables and umbrellas as well as many lounge chairs spread out around the perimeter of the pool. Adults will enjoy having the pool bar with additional comfortable, padded seating to sit around and enjoy a favorite beverage. Sitting around the long firepit in the evening makes for a comfortable and inviting place to hang out. There is also a large hot tub that can seat a number of adults to relax in after a long day of walking.
Springhill Suites Marriott Flamingo Crossing
If it is important to stay near Disney World, but outside of all of the Disney traffic, the Springhill Suites Marriott Flamingo Crossing might be one to consider. Just West of Disney World, Flamingo Crossing is an area with multiple hotels, shopping areas, and some restaurants. Many guests enjoy staying at the Springhill Suites in Winter Garden to be close to the Disney Parks but also catch a break from all of the people when desired. From the parking lot of this Springhill Suites, you can be in the heart of Disney in about 10-15 minutes. Animal Kingdom is the closest Disney Theme Park and should only take a few minutes to get to. Before heading out on your day, be sure to get something to eat at the complimentary daily breakfast area.

All of the rooms at the Springhill Suites at Flamingo Crossing are suites, and you will have the option of having two queen beds or a single king. Sleeping up to 5 guests, the double queen suites offer the most space, while the king suite can sleep up to 3 guests. Each of the suites comes with a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. A large desk space makes for a great work area if needed when you are away on your trip. Some of the suites offer views of the Disney fireworks. If seeing the fireworks is something you are interested in, be sure to Book a Suite that has fireworks views. Pros:
Many of the guests staying at the Springhill Suites in Flamingo Crossing like the location outside of the Disney World area. Being close to but not in Disney World is a benefit if you are not interested in using the Disney Magic Hours. It is nice getting up and going to the complimentary breakfast before heading out on your day. The suites are nice and have extra room over what you would find in a standard hotel room. They also come with a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Having a seating area and desk helps to make each room feall a little more like home.
Cons:
Some of the people staying had a couple of issues but most of the reviews are very good. Check out the latest reviews before booking your stay at any hotel in Orlando. As you look at the reviews some mention that they did not find the room they were staying in to be as clean as they would have expected.

Other Things to do at Flamingo Crossing Springhill Suites
Florida sun and the pool at the Springhill Suites make for a wonderful and relaxing day. There are also many other things to do in this hotel area. A shared sports area is available with a soccer field, basketball court, and even batting cages. Staying just outside of Disney World puts you in a great place to travel to any of the Disney Parks and Disney Springs in a short amount of time. Shuttle transportation can be arranged at the front desk to the Disney Parks for an additional fee per person.
