You can get your day started by hopping on one of the Universal Shuttle buses as early as 1 hour before prior to park opening and return as late as 2 am. Yes, you can walk to the Universal Theme Parks. To get to the Parks from the Surfside Inn and Suites, you will walk down the walkway on Universal Blvd, to the bus drop-off station for City Walk. Take the escalator or stairs up to the walking bridge and make your way through City Walk and then on to the Universal Theme Parks. The total walk is about 1.2 miles. While you can technically walk to Volcano Bay Water Park, it is not recommended as the walk is about 2.5 miles from the Surfside Inn and Suites. You might want to take the Shuttle for this one.
