It might be hard to make them out from the ground, but if you hover above the pools at the Musical All-Star Resort, you would see that the largest one is shaped like a guitar and a smaller pool at the back of the resort in the shape of a grand piano. Isn't a Grand Piano much larger than a Guitar in real life? I often wondered why they made the Guitar pool larger at this resort. The Guitar Pool is located in the Calypso area at the front of the Resort and has the Three Caballeros shooting water in the pool continuously from their water pistol fountains. A kiddie pool is uniquely designed into the guitar headstock giving you a safe place for the little ones to play. Musical All Star Resort at Disney World
Music memorabilia, posters of great artists from the past and different genre's of music welcome you to the All Star Music Resort at Disney World. Considered as one of the Disney Value Resorts, the All-Star Music yields all of the amenities and perks that make staying at a Disney Resort so rewarding.
Rooms and Suites
Everywhere you look you will notice that the layout and design of the All Star Music Resort surround itself with music. When you book your room, notice that you will have the option of staying in 1 of 5 different themed areas. The Themed areas include Broadway, Country, Jazz, Calypso or Rock & Roll. The Value Music Disney Resort is huge and has a total of 1,604 rooms. Most of the rooms are just standard rooms with a couple of Full-Size Beds or a King Bed and a Bathroom. The Disney Music Resort is the only All-Star Value Resort that also has Family Suites. The Family Suites are much larger and can sleep up to 6 guests. If this is of interest to you take a deeper look at the Family Suites.
Disney Fun at a more affordable price
Make your next trip special and stay at a Disney World property while visiting Orlando. No matter what level of Disney World Resort you stay in, there are massive benefits over staying outside of Disney. Sure, the Disney World Deluxe Resort accommodations can get pretty pricey. Disney decided to develop a few different Value Resorts to give families a less expensive option while still getting all of the perks of staying at a Disney property. You might not find all of the bells and whistles at the Disney All Star Music Resort that some of the more luxurious resorts have but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay and you are not planning on staying in your room much, the Disney All Star Music might be the perfect place for you.

Disney's All Star Music Reviews
Pros:
Great place to stay at a budget price is what you hear from many of the guests who visit the All-Star Music Resort. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need even though they are a little basic. Pools are a lot of fun and our kids loved the 3 Caballeros in the middle of the Guitar pool squirting their large water guns into the main pool area. The food court has some good things to eat even though it is more cafeteria like. The Disney Staff is always professional no matter what property you stay on.
Cons:
Wow, if you get put in the back buildings, they are quieter than the front but what a way to walk to the buses. When you book if you have any difficulty getting around, be sure to ask for a room in Calypso. These buildings are around the main guitar pool so they are a little noisier but the walk to the food court and buses is much easier. Staying at the All Star Music Resort feels a little more like a motel with all of the rooms opening to the outside. This is a gated area though so you feel very safe.

Fun Things to Do
The kids are going to pull you towards the pool area every chance they get, but there is more to do at the All-star Music Resort. As you walk through Melody Hall (the main entrance building) notice the huge Note’able Arcade with many new and retro style games. At the front of the Hall take some time to look through the Disney Store with plenty of fun Mickey and Disney items as well as some simple grocery articles.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at Disney’s All-Star Music.
Resort Fees
There are no additional Resort Fees.
Parking
Self-Parking is the only option at any of the Value Resorts. There is an additional nightly fee to park your car at any of the Disney Resorts.
Fitness Center
You will not be able to find a Fitness Center at the All-Star Music.
Spa Treatments
Spas are not seen at any of the Value Resorts. You can find Spas at many of the Moderate and Deluxe Resorts.
Dining
Dining at the All-Star Music is completely centered around the Intermission Food Court. The food court has great variety and is all counter service meals. Table dining options are not available at any of the Value Resorts. Choose from options that will fit everyone’s taste serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner every single day.
