Canoe Rentals at the Fort Wilderness Campground & Cabins
There is just something about getting out on the water and paddling around on a quiet pond and then along a slow flowing stream that makes life seem better. Kayaks are always a lot of fun but you can rent a Kayak at most vacation spots. A canoe rental, however, is not available everywhere you go. Take your kids on a Canoe trip like you used to do when you were a kid. Show them the fun of gliding across the water and taking some time out to enjoy the quietness of life for a few minutes.
Renting your Canoe
The Meadows Recreation, where the Family Pool with Water Slide is located, is where you will go to rent your Canoe or Kayaks. You must be at least 18 years of age to rent a canoe but you can have up to 3 people in each boat.
