Do I get the Unlimited Express Pass if I stay at Universal’s Surfside Inn and Suites?

The Surfside Inn and Suites is one of the Value Universal Resorts and does not come with the Unlimited Express Pass option. Express passes can be purchased separately when you buy your Universal Theme Park and Water Park Tickets. If you are interested in getting the unlimited express pass, you can book one of the Deluxe Resorts like the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, or the Hard Rock Hotel.
Do I get the early access to the Universal Parks?
Absolutely, Yes!
Another really great reason to stay at one of the onsite Universal Resorts is that you get early access to the parks. At this time, the early access portion gains you entry to the Harry Potter World sections in Universal Studios and Island of Adventure (if you have purchased a ticket for both parks). It is so much fun getting to the parks before the general public.
Early Admission to the Universal Parks
It is truly an amazing feeling when you enter the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure Theme Parks earlier than anyone else. Even though you only have access to the Harry Potter sections of the park, it feels really special. The Harry Potter rides are some of the most exciting areas in the Universal Parks and it is a huge benefit to get on them before the large crowds are allowed in.
Being able to walk the cobblestone streets of Hogsmeade and enter the stores and shops without bumping into hordes of people adds to the fun. As long as you have purchased a multi-park ticket, the Hogwarts Express Train is also open to you and you can venture between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
Do I also get early access to Volcano Bay Water Park? Yes, you do! The Volcano Bay Water Park gets crowded very quickly so gaining early access to find that perfect spot is essential to your wonderful day.
Free Shuttle Service
No need to drive anywhere once you get to the Surfside Inn and Suites. Just leave your car in the garage and hop on the shuttle buses that are provided to get you to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and even City Walk. Shuttle buses arrive every 15 minutes or so and the pickup and dropoff location is to the left side of the entrance to Surfside Inn and Suites.
Room Key Payments
When you check in to the Surfside Inn and Suites you will receive a keycard to your room. This can also act as your cash in the parks. No need to take a wallet to purchase items, everything can be billed back to your car.
