Shuttle Service at the Boardwalk Inn Disney Resort

Believe it or not, one of the best modes of transportation at the Disney Boardwalk Inn might be on foot. The boardwalk is full of fun and dining and walking along the path will take you right to the World Showcase at Epcot. A walk in the other direction will take you to Hollywood Studios. However, if you are not interested in adding steps to your already busy schedule, the water taxi system will take you to Epcot or Hollywood Studios as well. Getting to the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom takes a little more time by the Disney Bus system and you can catch the Skyliner just outside of Epcot’s World Showcase entrance or the Monorail at Epcot’s main entrance. We will break all of this down and much more.

Heading off of Disney?

There are so many options around Orlando and neighboring cities that you might consider leaving Disney World for a while. Shuttle Buses

You might not consider the Buses a glamorous way to get around but after you have been on your feet all day, you are so happy to see that Disney Bus pull up and take you to your destination. Disney transportation is one of the best in the work and even the bus system is a real joy. Take a moment and talk to your bus driver, they will tell you how wonderful things are around you. The Bus line picks you up in the front of the Boardwalk Inn and will take you to any of the Disney destinations like; Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom; Disney Springs and the Disney Water Parks.

Walking

If you are heading to Epcot, the fastest way to get there is to walk out of the back doors of the Boardwalk Inn, take a right and head over to where you see the Disney Skyliner station. This is the World Showcase entrance and is easy access for guests staying at the Boardwalk Inn, Disney Beach Club Resort and the Disney Yacht Club Resort. Take the path to the left and you can also walk along the waterway to get you to Hollywood Studios. This walk is nearly a mile so be prepared for the extra steps added to your day.

Water Taxi

Along with the fun at Disney World, you will definitely be getting a workout while you walk miles and miles every day. If you don't want to add more steps to your daily routine, taking the water taxi is a great option. The kids love getting on the boat and cruising over the Epcot and Hollywood Studios. To the little ones, they feel as if they are on a Disney ride the whole way. On the other side of the Crescent Lake is the Disney Yacht Club Resort, and the Disney Beach Club Resort. hop aboard the water taxi check them out as well. I would highly recommend a stop at the Beaches & Cream Cafe at least one time during your stay.

Monorail

While the monorail is not directly connected to the Boardwalk Inn, a great option to use this transportation is to walk or take the water taxi to the World Showcase at Epcot. Once you have seen everything at this park, exit from the main entrance and hop on the Monorail and head over to the Magic Kingdom. The monorail is the most iconic transportation at Disney World and it is worth taking the time to use it whenever you can.

Skyliner

The Disney Skyliner is fascinating to watch as the Gondolas whizz past, above your head as you walk to the station situated at the back entrance to Epcot.
