There is no better pool area in the Disney World Resorts than what you will find at the New England style Disney Yacht Club Resort Pool. Sharing the 3-acre water park with the Disney Beach Club offers a wonderful experience that you will not find at other Disney Resorts. The Stormalong Bay water park has multiple lagoon-style pools and even has a sandy bottom pool. Adding to the fun, take a slide down a 230-foot twisting water slide built into an old-time shipwreck, a lazy river, and 2 hot tubs.

There are also 3 quiet pools around the Disney Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Quiet pools allow the adults to have some time away from the excitement at the main family pool area. Hot tubs can be found at the Stormalong Bay water park and each of the quiet pools. The kids will have a great time playing in the waterspouts, and the family will enjoy relaxing while floating along the lazy river. The main area is broken up into 3 separate lagoons, each with its own special design. You will also find a zero-entry area for the younger ones to splash around and play without worrying about them slipping off of a pool edge. There is so much to do at the Yacht Club Resort, you will want to make sure to schedule some time away from the local attractions and theme parks to enjoy them all.

Stormalong Bay

Stormalong Bay at the Disney Yacht Club is shared with the Disney Beach Club Resort and is the largest Family Pool area at any of the Disney Resorts in Orlando. With three huge, lagoon-style pools, one of which is a sand bottom pool, there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out an enjoyable time in the Orlando sun. The 230-foot water slide is also the largest of any at the Disney Resorts. Everyone loves a lazy river and the slow-flowing water that connects all of the large bodies of water is a wonderful addition. The Sand around the Sand Bottom Pool has a unique feeling on your toes as you sink in to the soft pool bottom. This is one of the favorite locations for the kids to play. Towel Returns and Pickup are located at Stormalong Bay and each of the Quiet Pools for your convenience.

Shipwreck Water Slide

The Water Slide at Stormalong Bay is the longest at any of the Disney World Resorts. This 230-foot behemoth starts at the top of a pirate ship mast. and is enclosed while slipping over the walkway underneath. The water slide opens up to a flume on the second section and leads you to the splashdown area in the pool where lifeguards are always on duty to keep an eye on your safety.

Lazy River

A long lazy river wraps around the Stormalong Bay connecting sections of the pools together.

There are plenty of lounge chairs around the 3 pools, lazy river and water slide that make up the Stormalong Bay Water Park Disney World.

Marina

Take to the water in a small watercraft and get a new vantage point of the Yacht and Beach Club Resort. Pontoon boats are great for family outings and the SeaRay Raycers are so much fun for 1 or 2 guests to zip around the water. Taking a boat out on the Crescent Lake is fun that can be shared and remembered for a long time to come.

Cresent Lake and the White Sand Beach

Place your feet in the sand and enjoy the view of the water while basking in the Florida sun. The beach is located just behind the Disney Beach Club and Yacht Club Resort. Lounge chairs line the beach and give you the perfect location to watch the sunset over the Disney Boardwalk Inn Resort on the opposite side of Crescent Lake.

Cabanas at Stormalong Bay

Cabanas are available for Rent at the Stormalong Bay at the Disney Yacht and Beach Club Resort. Be sure to rent these early as they go fast. Check with the front desk for information on renting a Cabana at the Disney Yacht Club.

Adults can find their favorite beverage at Hurricane Hanna's located around the Sand bottom pool around the Stormalong Bay Water Park. Hurricane Hanna's offers a great selection of food as well so you can eat by the pool and not have to get ready to go to another restaurant inside the Disney Yacht Club.

Looking for a quiet location to hang out by the water. There are two (2) additional quiet pools are located around the Disney Beach Club and the Yacht club other than the three (3) pools at Stormalong Bay.
