Things to do at the Disney Yacht Club
Most certainly, the fun you will have at the Disney Yacht Club Resort Pool, Stormalong Bay, will be the most exciting recreation you share in at the Disney Yacht Club. The Water Park style pool area has a very large, winding water slide, multiple lagoon-style pools, and even a lazy river. Be sure to adventure out and see that there is a log more to do at the Yacht Club Resort though. Since you are located on Crescent Lake, you can take your family for a stroll to the marina and take out one of the many fun watercraft, like a pontoon boat or the zippy, SeaRay Raycers. Rent a bike by the pier and zoom around to the Disney Boardwalk Inn. Watch the outdoor performers while eating by the water. The Disney Yacht Club is located just 0.4 miles from the back entrance of the World Showcase at Epcot. Fun things to do at Disney Yacht Club
Lafferty Place Arcade
Shared with the Disney Beach Club Resort, hang out with friends or family in the Lafferty Arcade. The arcade is a great place to have some fun and get out of the heat. This air-conditioned space has great games from the past and the latest games of today.
Campfire Fun
When was the last time you sat around a campfire, singing songs, roasting marshmallows and making s'mores? Maybe you have never done this before. The Disney Yacht Club Resort has a great fire pit on the sand beside the Crescent Lake where you can experience a family activity that everyone will enjoy. Hang out and have a great evening with some wonderful Disney cast members by the campfire.
Movies under the Stars
The white sand beach is a great place to get pictures but it is also a wonderful time to share in a movie event under the stars at the Yacht Club Resort. Check the schedule for the latest Disney Movie shows and come back from a long day at the parks and relax while watching a good family flick with your kids.
Sand Volleyball Court
Remember, when you stay at the Disney Yacht Club, you also gain all of the fun and amenities provided by the Disney Beach Club Resort. Located near the tidal pool, a large sand area is placed in the middle of a courtyard allowing for great volleyball fun.
Jogging Path
So many sights to see and they can all be taken in by riding a bike or jogging on the path that wraps around the Cresent Lake and waterways at the Disney Yacht Club Resort. For a lengthy jog or walk, you can travel past the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin and head over to Hollywood Studios.
Tennis
A single tennis court is located on the far side of the Disney Yacht Club Resort if you would like to take in a match.
Motorized Boat Rentals - Marina
Get out on the water with a boat rental from the Bayside Marina located on the pier in the back of the Disney Yacht Club. Cast members are ready to sign you up and get you out enjoying Crescent Lake in a different way. Rent a pontoon boat or enjoy the speed of being in a SeaRay Raycer. Either way, it is a lot of fun and memory made with your family.
