Fun things to do at Disney Beach Club Resort Recreation
Sitting on the edge of Crescent Lake, the Disney Beach Club Resort is in a Premier location in Disney World. Did you know that you can walk .25 miles from the back of the Disney Beach Club Resort and enter the Epcot World Showcase? There is so much to do at Disney’s Beach Club Resort Recreation and its sister property the Disney Yacht Club. Stormalong Bay Water Park is the largest water fun zone in any of the Disney Resorts with 3 Pools a huge Water Slide and a Lazy River. Take a boat out on the water and enjoy the views of the lake and Disney Boardwalk Inn. Getting out on the water gives you a completely different vantage point of your surroundings at this resort. The sand beach area is a perfect place to watch movies at night and catch Disney Fireworks. You are not going to believe all of the fun you will have at the Disney Beach Club Resort.

Lafferty Place Arcade
The Beach Club has a huge Arcade room full of classic games and the latest available. The arcade is a great place to get out of the sun for a while.
Movies under the stars
What could be better after a full day of running around the parks than to sit back, on the white sandy beach by Crescent Lake and take in a fun family movie under the stars? A great option to get the kids settled down before they snooze for the night, the movie under the stars is an event that has become a family favorite at many of the Disney World Deluxe Resorts. Head down to the Beach, near the shipwrecked pirate ship and view the times for the next showing.
Campfire Activities
Gather around the firepit located down on the beach near the edge of Crescent lake for an event that is like no other at Disney World. Roast Marshmallows and build your Smores and sit around while stories are told by a Disney Cast Member. These are the memories that make life extra sweet and will be what your kids take home with them as one of the most special times they had on the trip.
Tennis
Head over to the more private Admiral pool located on the West side of the Disney Yacht Club Resort and you will find a single tennis court for your exercise and enjoyment. Didn't bring your Raquet or Tennis Balls? Not a problem, the Ship Shape Massage and Salon Fitness center has you covered. Just drop by and let them know what you need and head over to the courts for a great match.
Sand Volleyball Court
Get some friends together (or make some new ones) and head out near the Tidal Pool on the grounds of the Disney Beach Club and play some good ole fashioned Beach Volleyball. Need a volleyball? Head on over to the Ship Shape Massage and Salon Fitness and they will let you check one out.
Jogging Trail
The Jogging trails around the Beach Club loop you around the Beautiful Crescent lake so it is fun to take a stroll, jog or run just to take in the sights around the area.
Boat Rentals
Time to leave land and have some water sports fun? The Bayside Marina is located on the other side of the Shipwreck water slide and offers so many options for heading out on the water. Prices are posted on the dock so you know what it will cost for your time on the water. A Disney Cast Member will set you up for your adventure in a Pontoon boat for a group of people or maybe a more private experience on a Searay Raycer. You can't go wrong, do something different that can head out on the water. It is a memory your kids will never forget.
