Rooms, Villas or Cottage
Stay in a standard room or upgrade to Villa to get some additional space. An even more incredible experience is waiting if you decide to book a cottage and enjoy the views looking over Crescent Lake. Going back in time and having access to the amenities and recreation of the Disney Boardwalk Inn is the start of a great adventure. Walking along the Boardwalk, the amusements of street performers bring this area to life and the beauty seen as you look across the Crescent Lake is a priceless endeavor. A couple of different room types are available to choose from when you stay at the Boardwalk Inn. For a home away from home experience, staying in one of the DVC (Disney Vacation Club) Villas or a Cottage will unquestionably add to your encounter.

Pros:
What an amazing place the Disney Boardwalk Inn is. Most of the Guests who visit delight in the Boardwalk style of living where they can venture out and have so many things to do without ever leaving the resort area. The shops and dining are both unique to the area. It is very easy to get around since with Boat Transportation or Bus. The rooms are very clean and the kids had a wonderful time on the large Water Slide at the Luna Pool. Sitting out on the Boardwalk and watching the performers in the evening is an experience you cannot get at any of the other Disney Resort. It is a real plus to be able to walk to the World Showcase at Epcot and even though it is a little longer walk to Hollywood Studios, the beauty of walking along the canal is worth it in my opinion.
Cons:
A couple of the Reviews on the Boardwalk Inn in Disney World mention the water taxi being a little slow since it not only picks up (and drops off) at the Boardwalk Inn and Beach Club but it also services the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin next door. This makes for a much longer transport to either Epcot or Hollywood Studios. It is also mentioned by more than one about the rooms being a little noisier than some of the other Disney World Deluxe Resorts.

Fun Things to Do at the Disney Boardwalk Resort
Activities are in abundance for the kids and adults at the Boardwalk in like an arcade, fishing and bike rentals to name a few. The Boardwalk itself is a great place to spend time walking around. Amazement surrounds you as you stroll by all of the sideshow acts with juggling and dancing as well as some great restaurants to dine by the water. No matter what you enjoy, there is something for everyone who visits.
Pets
Pets can be a huge part of a family’s life but be aware that the Disney Boardwalk Inn Resort does not allow pets.
