Having access to the Pool Complex next door at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort opens up the water fun for families. The Outdoor Pool at the Swan Reserve is unique because of its location on the 2nd floor of the hotel. It is really a perfect place for adults. The rectangular pool with spouting fountains pouring into the pool makes for a great-looking and very relaxing area. A bar, just inside from the pool is very convenient and the 4 cabanas add to the elegance of the area. In the evenings, when things might cool off a little, the firepit by the pool is a nice touch. Sip on your favorite beverage at any time and enjoy your social time at the pool.
If you are spending a family vacation at the Swan Reserve, access to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort Pools add another level of fun. A large grotto pool is fun for all ages and having an 80-foot water slide keeps you by the pool area for hours. A lap pool is also available to get in your morning exercise and a large hot tub is a great relaxation spot for the adults.
Swan Reserve Disney World
In the same area as the Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan Resort the Swan Reserve Disney World expands on the available options. Being a Marriott Bonvoy hotel, the Swan Reserve stands out by being one of the Autograph locations. Great views are possible from the top floors of Hollywood Studios, Epcot and some rooms can also see parts of Animal Kingdom in the far-off distance. Walking in the main doors to the Swan Reserve, you get to the lobby by taking an escalator up to the next floor. Clean, and contemporary is the design of this hotel with a chic style from the lobby to the guest rooms and suites.
Rooms & Suites
No shortage of room types at the Swan Reserve Disney, that is for certain. Rooms will range from standard hotel-style to Junior Suites and also the top-level room being a Presidential Suite. Whatever the style, layout, or depth of amenities and comfort you are looking for, you might find it at the Swan Reserve. Most of the standard and smaller suites are long and narrow and have a different feel to them from a standard hotel. Standard Rooms can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests with the option of 2 queen beds or a more intimate setting with a single king. Suites add space to your stay with many Signature Suite options including a 1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom option. Walt Disney World Swan Reserve Reviews
Pros:
Staying at the Swan Reserve gives you a very contemporary setting with very clean lines and stands out as a more upscale hotel. It might not be your first choice for a family stay in Disney World but it does have some nice amenities and extra space with 1 and 2 bedroom suites. The pool is nice but if you have kids you will want to head over to the Walt Disney World Dolphin resort where you have a huge Grotto Pool and Water Slide. The rooms are comfortable and the staff was very helpful during our stay.
Cons:
Like many of the upscale hotels in Orlando, and the Deluxe Disney Resorts, the Swan Reserve is not cheap. Some guests mentioned the expense of the food but there are other nearby options at the Disney Boardwalk that are more affordable for families. On top of your reservation, you will also have a daily resort fee and if you drive a car, a parking fee or valet parking fee. This all adds up on your trip so have this in mind when booking.

Disney Transportation
A stay at the Swan Reserve Disney gets you more than just a room, it also gives you so much Disney Fun! You are within walking distance of Hollywood Studios (1.1-mile walk) or Disney’s Epcot (0.8-mile walk). Did you know that staying at the Swan Reserve also gives you access to the water taxi service? A water taxi picks up at the Friendship Launch on the bridge between the Walt Disney World Dolphin & Walt Disney World Swan. A short 0.2-mile walk will get you on a ferry to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. Transportation to Disney Springs, Animal Kingdon, and the Magic Kingdom is also included in your stay.

Dining
On the main lobby level, the Grounds Coffee House is a great place to start your day with coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Grab-n-go items make this a great option when you are heading out to the parks or out to the pool area. The Amare Restaurant serves a full breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Business & Event Spaces
Business Meetings are perfectly set at the Swan Reserve. With over 27,000 square feet of meeting space, just about any size event can be accommodated here.
