- Entrances: At the back of the water slides and Wake Zone, you will find one step entrance to the Lazy River. Another entrance is found on the opposite side. Both of these entry points use stairs to get to the rapid river. There is not a zero-entry point to the Crystal River Rapids.

- Unique Features: Wow! Speed, Relaxation, and Water Features! The speed at which you float around is probably the biggest stand-out feature of the Crystal River Rapids. It also has a large Sun Ledge where you can relax in very shallow water, and get some sun but stay cool.
- Number of Waterfalls: You will find three (3) waterfalls in the Crystal River Rapids. It is so fun floating through the cave with a waterfall at the beginning and another at the end. The waterfalls at the cave span about half of the lazy river width allowing you to go through or around the flowing water. Another waterfall is found flowing into the side of this fast-flowing river and is fun to slip under when you want to get cooled off.
- Spraying Water: Watch out for the spraying water at one point in the rapids, where multiple streams of water pour out from the rock formation.
- Tubes: Tubes are not provided and are not allowed in the Crystal River Rapids attraction. This is due to the fact that this Lazy River is faster than what you might be used to. Wearing a life vest is the best way to float around this fast-flowing river.
- Lifeguards: Lifeguards are continually patrolling the Crystal River Rapids. This is more than a Lazy River. The Crystal River Rapids is a fast-moving ride so be sure you watch out for your smaller kids.
The Grove – Water Park with water slides, 700-foot Lazy River

Zero entry is provided at the pool, and easing your way across the large pool to the lazy river is wonderful. You will also find multiple entry points and exit points along the way. Two (2) exit points at the water slide and one over at the kid’s splash park. Getting a ride on the Lazy River will take you to all of the other locations at the Reunion Resort Water Park.

Two waterfalls flow from the beautiful tall rock structures on the side of the lazy river. These waterfalls are easy to float by without getting splashed. In contrast, the two waterfalls at the cave system are more difficult to maneuver past. One waterfall is at the cave entrance and has an opening on the right side if you don’t want to have the water splashing on you, but on the exit, it is not easy to get through without the water splashing you. The waterfalls at the Reunion Resort keep you cool and are a lot of fun on a hot day.
- Tubes: Inner tubes are provided for guests of the Reunion Resort in Orlando. You will see tubes at all entrances and exits, but most of the tubes are found at the main pool entrance to the lazy river.

While you can’t go wrong with any of their resorts, the Cabana Bay Beach Resort is the only Universal Orlando Resort with a Lazy River and a Water Slide.
