2 Heated Pools, 1.5 Acre Water Park

There are 2 heated swimming pools at Liki Tiki Orlando. Other amenities include the 1.5 acre water park and playscape. Kids with have a blast in the wave pool, water volcano and 5 water slides. Hours are subject to change, at this time the heated pool in the center of the resort is open until midnight.

Liki Tiki Resort Tips:

  • Pool view rooms are breath taking but tend to get noisy
  • The high rise condos have the renovated rooms
  • Buildings 400, 500 and 600 are known to be near the pool and VERY noisy
  • Buildings near the lagoon are located at 1100-1400
  • Best access to the water park is buildings 800-900
  • The “quiet pool” is located at the townhouses near the gym
  • The Tiki Bar is located at the main pool

Small Heated Pool, Over 120′ Water Slide

The Grand Cypress in Orlando has a small heated pool and is a very nice place to stay. The reviews are great. There is a twisty 124 Ft water slide that will take you to the heated pool down below. It’s called the “Water Slide Tower Pavilion” and is a fairly new addition to the water amenities at the Hyatt Grand Cypress Resort. Enjoy two hot tubs, one of which is at the main pool.

Grand Cypress Resort Tips:

  • You can see Magic Kingdom Fireworks from the 5th floor rooms with a pool view
  • Rooms overlooking the lake are nice
  • The 16th floor and above have the the best views and are quieter
  • The hotel sells inflatable rafts and tubes to be used in the pools

2 Heated Pools plus a Heated Lazy River

Large pool at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort in Orlando

The 2 heated pools at the Bonnet Creek Wyndham are nice. Can you believe there is also a heated lazy river? You don’t find that very often. They also have Jacuzzi rooms available. The large main pool has 2 hot tubs as well as 6 other hot tubs sprinkled across the other areas of the resort.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek Tips:

  • There are no pools at tower 1 or 2
  • The Putt-Putt Tower (Tower 3) is the one that has the lazy river
  • Towers 4, 5 and 6 also have the quickest access to pools
  • Towers 3 and 5 have the firework views
  • Ask for a water view for Tower 6 otherwise you may be facing the dumpsters and parking lot

Are Disney World Resort Pools Heated?

Yes, Disney World Resorts with Heated Pools do exist! The list of Hotels in Orlando with a heated pools would not be complete without adding the Disney properties. It is typical that Disney hotels and resorts heat their pools to a comfortable 82-degree temperature. The Disney water parks are heated to that 82-degree mark however there is always 1 water park that will be closed on an alternating basis during each winter season. The zero entry Animal Kingdom Lodge heated pool makes it very comfortable for endless nights of swimming especially in cooler months. The kids will love the Disney Beach Club heated pool . They have 2 separate kiddie areas there and a 230 foot shipwreck water slide.

The nicely heated pool at Disney Key West makes it fun and toasty during a January. There you will find a 125 foot sand castle water slide and multiple hot tubs.

The heated pool at Saratoga Springs Resort is large and not very crowded around February. There are multiple whirlpools to keep warm in as well. There are approximately 5 water slides and a fun kiddie area.

The Disney Yacht Club Heated Pool feels so good around Christmas. Along with 6 hot tubs and a 230 foot water slide for the kids makes it a splash-tastic place to be!

The heated pool at Coronado Springs Resort is very beautiful. This sprawling resort has a 22 person Hot Tub and a 17 foot curving slide.
